Giorgio Tsoukalos Enjoys The Joe Rogan Experience

Giorgio Tsoukalos, editor of long-running alternative history site Legendary Times and now perhaps better known as the dude with the hair on History Channel’s Ancient Aliens series, joins Rogan and Brian Redban for the uniquely wonderful “Joe Rogan Experience”:

  1. Rogan is fun and all, but you have to be iffy on an alien “expert” who doesn’t know whether Roswell happened in 46 or 47 after just coming from there, and who quotes What the Bleep do we Know? as an authority on quantum physics.

He is a expert on ancient alien visitation, But to most 1946 is pretty ancient.

The movie he meant was Demolition Man not Judge Dredd.

I never expected to criticize Rogan, but the part about the homeless was pretty judgemental and tasteless.

What I want to know is why did the “super advanced race” have to get wiped out? If they knew astronomy over the spans of the galaxy, if they knew procession of the equinoxes over millenia, if they knew physics and geometry and technology apparently incomprehensible to even the most advanced recent human civilization capable of its own “miracles” why could they have just left?  why did Atlantis get “wiped out”? They apparently knew some catastrophe was coming. Who says they didn’t just transport away somehow. I mean we’re here throwing out all these radical possibilities on everything why is this idea of mine(seemingly not so radical) not ever discussed? Just wondering, trying to make some chit chat.

They say the Maya didn’t fight back when the Spaniards invaded, could it be possible that they were not scared of death because death should not be feared. This life here is just a small piece to the larger puzzle.

They say the Maya “thought” the Spaniards were their “gods” returning. Unfortunately and sadly they were not their “gods” and the whole civilization was nearly lost including all of its written history because the Spaniards slaughtered them for “Christianity”. But the Maya the Spaniards encountered were just a vague remnant thousands of year post “gods” era.

History is written by the victor, who knows what the Mayans actually thought.
