This is a video of Dave Hurban, who, tired of having to attach his iPod nano to his wrist with a strap, decided to implant some magnets in his arm to do the job for him. Personally, I would have just superglued it, but that’s me and I’m the voice of reason…

    very dangerous if the coating of the magnets under the skin rips off. Many magnets need to be coated as they are dangerous and sensitive . If this are teflon coated the it is.. ok.

    Interesting idea for a dermal, I know a few people who will probably get this done if and when they see this video. Seems like a marketing strategy to me. Maybe the ad could be more effective if they had a better sound track, a little less “emo” and a bit more Bad Brains.

    Yeah I would say that “Man squirts superglue on arm to attach ipod” and most of us wouldn’t have clicked on the link. Probably yet another Apple commercial pretending not to be an advertisement. Hey the general public doesn’t realize how sophisticated marketing has become. I guess that’s why we have websites like disinfo to help point that out.
