Anaheim Police Shoot At Journalists And Protesters In Front Of City Hall

In response to both the killing an unarmed young man this past weekend and subsequent police brutality against protesters, hundreds of demonstrators converged in from of Anaheim City Hall yesterday, and cops once again responded violently, blanketing residents and reporters with a barrage of pepper balls and bean bag rounds as unrest in the city continues to grow:

I watched this LIVE for 3 hrs last night and one thing kept running through my mind.

“There’s a time when the operation of the machine becomes so
odious—makes you so sick at heart—that you can’t take part. You can’t
even passively take part. And you’ve got to put your bodies upon the
gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and
you’ve got to make it stop. And you’ve got to indicate to the people who
run it, to the people who own it that unless you’re free, the machine
will be prevented from working at all.”

These police don’t realize how outnumbered and vulnerable they are.

They have no defense against individuals sniping them with deer rifles while they sit at red lights.

They think their gang is the strongest one in town.  That is a bluff.  If they keep up this behavior, their bluff could be called.

On the contrary — I believe they know _exactly_ how vulnerable they are, and that is exactly why they respond with such overwelhming force and brutality. Because they’re afraid.

They’re constantly bombarded with fear, that’s true. I forget what city is was (NY, Chicago) but perhaps you remember the case in which Anti-Islamic propaganda films were being shown to officers during training.

China is often vilified by Uncle Homeland
for just this kind of thing
which Uncle Homey has consistently done
    since Shays’ Rebellion

which is why they call that place
The Land of the Free to be Killed by Government

Seems like law enforcement (around the world) has had enough of these trouble making citizens (of the world), I wonder when the bean bags will become hollow points. It must be so tiresome for police seeing angry people protest, some days they must wish they could just kill them.

Some days I think they wish they could just join them.

They could any time they want, the big problem is that their employers can dangle a check over their heads in this economic climate and go “Sic ‘em doggie”
