Space Aliens Gatecrash London Olympics

Well, that’s my theory, anyhow.  Other possibilities include resurrected ancient Maya come to declare the end of Time, predator drones enforcing the sponsor-mandated dress codes, or Jesus come back to earth to close his RBS account.  From Lee Speigel at the Huffington Post:

Talk about an uninvited guest at the Olympics.

Friday night’s spectacular pyrotechnics display of the most watched opening ceremony in summer Olympics history attracted more than the eyes of over 40 million people. A clearly seen unidentified flying object was videotaped making its way over London’s Olympic stadium, reports Examiner.com.

The disc-shaped object is first seen entering the upper left portion of the video as the fireworks erupt over the stadium. The UFO — which appears to have a dome or bulge rising from its center — moves slowly across the sky as if deliberately observing the light-show spectacle below it.

While NBC Olympics — a division of NBC Sports — has chosen Goodyear blimps for all of its 2012 Olympics aerial coverage, the strange-looking object that appeared over the opening ceremonies doesn’t appear to be a blimp.

So what was it?

      It’s an airship for god sake. I live in London and saw it. All the airship fly over my home back to Damyns Hall aerodrome in Upminster.

    So, all sneering, mocking comments aside, what was that thing? London is a police state, and air space is tightly controlled. We can’t even imagine the anti-terrorism security measures in place during the opening ceremonies. How did this thing get in there? How could it be flying around in London airspace during the most high-security event in history?

      Assuming it isn’t some type of trivial optical illusion, it’s most likely some kind of police or military monitoring device, just based on the facts you describe above which make it highly unlikely in my mind that the authorities are surprised by it.

      Yeah, I heave the Five Planet Federation authorities are peeved about the IOC’s appropriation of their military insignia.  False flag operations are NOT a trivial matter when they’re in the middle of an intergalactic conflict with the Psychlos.

    It’s a conspiracy by the aliens.  They disguised themselves quite well this time.  What, with Goodyear script running along the belly…    Yep.  They really outdid themselves.

    I live close to the Olympic site and i can tell you, that blimp; it has been flying around for weeks. At night it has a  strip of light around its perimeter, you can not see any defining shape at night. The lights seem to make it look like a disc.
     A friend of mine came running into the house one night; he was screaming UFO!!! UFO!! when i first saw it i too believed it was a ufo, not until i relaxed did i see it was a blimp. The speed of  the “ufo” looks the same. the shape and the light are the same. I believe the dome that we are seeing is coursed by the angle at which the blimp is flying. one last point. for all the people saying that a blimp would not fly so low over the stadium they are correct, but the video seems a bit false perspective to me. it is certainly low, but it is not directly over the stadium as some people believe.
