Disturbing Ritual Livestock Mutilations Strike Colorado Ranches

Satanists, aliens, or sociopathic sadists? One of these is at the heart of a gruesome mystery lurking within a valley of the Rocky Mountains. Via the Denver Post:

Recent livestock mutilations have Gunnison area ranchers shaken and on the alert for more strange attacks on cattle and horses.

A horse was shot and had its head skinned at the LeValley Ranch property, about eight miles east of Gunnison. The horse also had its tongue and anus removed. Less than two months ago, a prize heifer in the same heavily traveled area had its tongues, lips and anus removed. Two other incidents took place on other ranches in that vicinity in May and July.

“To me it looks like a ritualistic issue. Either that, or they are high on drugs. There is just no logical explanation for it,” said Esty Ranch owner Mike Clarke.

The recent mutilations have similarities to mutilations that occurred in the 1960s in neighboring Saguache County. The most famous incident was reported in 1967 when a horse that became known as Snippy” had its head and neck skinned. Like in the most recent cases, there was no blood at the scene or tracks. The mutilations were never solved.

  1. I’m old enough to remember a rash of these “Livestock Mutilations” from about 30 years ago.

It was around the same time that “Satanists” were believed to be secretly kidnapping, sexually abusing, and brain-washing untold numbers of children, frequently under the guise of running a daycare center.

Thank goodness we had those “Mental Health Professionals” to help the children recall those “repressed memories” of pedophiliac orgiastic Black Mass rituals and abuse.

Anyhow, while the imaginary Satanists were busy corrupting the youth, they were also busy performing “mutilations” on livestock all over the country.

Doubtless there really were a few idiot teens occasionally killing and mutilating farm animals for thrills or to “get even” with some crotchety old rancher, but when veterinarians did the occasional necropsy on the “Satanically mutilated” animals, they concluded that the tongue and anus removals were the work of small animals and insects, as they are moist tissues devoid of tough outer hide.

I think “Blow Flies” were specifically mentioned…

The rumors of “surgically precise” incisions were generally attributable to police reports written and filed by local cops who had neither the training or the experience to make such determinations.

Anyhow, a modern day Satanic Panic might be fun… in fact, I’m pretty sure I overheard some Satanists talking the other day. I’m sure I’m wrong, but maybe they said they were going to start hanging out at and selecting victims from a well known and homophobic fast food Chicken Restaurant. Apparently the shame and degradation of homosexually battering uptight straight whites is as tasty to Satan as lightly breaded, deep-fried, chicken breasts served on a bun with a pickle.

Yes, of course, Black Satanic Daycare Orgies are among the usual suspects in cases like this.

That said, “Black Satanic Daycare Orgies,” as a phrase, is only a short mnemonic leap from ‘Blake’s “Dark Satanic Mills.”‘

Yes, you know where I am going with this … you’re way ahead of me.

The same Blake poem contains the phrase ‘Chariot of Fire’ … not just dentist-chair music by Vangelis, but a Biblical reference to a UFO abduction of the Hebrew prophet Elijah (II Kings 2) …. who had previously MUTILATED CATTLE on Mt. Carmel in ‘an bet’ with Phoenician prophets (I Kings 18).

Indeed, UFOs are often associated with cattle mutilations … but the most important thing to remember, of course, is that ‘U.F.O.’ is an acronym.

“Black Satanic Daycare Orgies” is also a great band name.

You have to love the old testament. I can’t tell if you made it up, or they did.

If you haven’t seen it, you might like a documentary titled “Witch Hunt”, which is all about Kern County child abuse cases in the great Satanic Panic of the 80s.

They just don’t make Satan scares like they used to.

Tell me about it. Those were fun times. Everything I liked was “satanic” according to the Bible Beaters, and the extra coating of the forbidden made it all the sweeter.

I wonder how many a young hellion was introduced to the joys of the dark side by some bug eyed sensationalist in a Sunday night service showing a film about the horrors of the occult?

I used to love finding satanic panic episodes of the 700 Club, 20/20 and 60 minutes. As a D&D playing heavy metal kid I really enjoyed the mix of comedic stories and evil imagery. They always had fun B-roll of guys in robes playing D&D, Satanic rites and clips from rock videos I liked.

Sadly, not enough people know the truth of these “mutilations.”  It really is just decomposition, heat, and scavengers at work.

The technical term for cattle mutilation is “Bovine Excision” – which would be an awesome name for a band. Or perhaps for a liposuction clinic.

Or it could be a wild fetish…. there’s a lot of those out there.

In the country, we call them “horse people”. Sometimes it’s alpacas, even emus. The latest one is Kune Kune pigs (i want one). They move to rural areas, have someone put up an expensive fence and then buy the most costly animals they can buy from the breeders. They get especially upset if anyone does any real farming around them.

Let’s just say, they’re not from around here. They aren’t familiar with nature. They come from the city. And they get all worked up about the strangest things. What happened was that a coon/possum/coyote got to the already dead animals and ate them. That’s what they do. It’s not pretty. And btw, animals often comeback to a dead critter until its gone and that could take a week. So yeah, it’s left there.

People are so obsessed with the obscure that they neglect to be present in this amazing world.

  5. Lips, tongue, anus?  Sounds like  Monsanto or Dupont (or one of the other corporate criminals) testing cellular chemical uptake from eating and/or defecating after consuming  “X”.

    • Matt Staggs | Aug 9, 2012 at 10:14 am |

Seems like Monsanto or Dupont could get their own livestock for testing purposes. Coyotes and other scavengers very often remove these parts from kills, and it probably happened post-mortem. Also, “lips, tongue and anus” sounds like a recipe list from a hotdog factory.

Genitals and eyes too, as far as scavengers go…another common denominator w/ the ‘mutilations’.
