“Free Pussy Riot” Murders: Further Justification for Russian Crack-Down?

Some might find a gruesome murder that could be connected to supporters of Pussy Riot awfully convenient for the Putin administration. The bodies of two women were found beneath a message scrawled in their own blood: “Free Pussy Riot.”

Investigators have identified the murderer as Igor Danilevsky, who they say murdered the women as part of a bizarre scheme to pay off outstanding debt:

The man – a 38-year-old university professor named Igor Danilevsky – was detained Thursday in Kazan, Russia’s Investigative Committee said on Friday. It said Danilevsky wrote “Free Pussy Riot” on a wall in the victims’ blood because he wanted the deaths of the 38-year-old woman he dated and her mother, 76, to appear as if they were a “ritual killing.”

The Committee said Danilevsky had convinced the woman to take out a loan to repay his debts, and promised to marry her. Police had found the knife used to stab the women to death and disfigure their faces and bodies, it said.

An active false-flag operation? A run-of-the-mill criminal using political turmoil to obfuscate his motives? This could be anything, but one thing is for sure: Putin’s supporters will be happy to use this as grist for the mill.

The name Pussy Riot has become an all too easy way to attract media attention, related or unrelated.

Or is this being done to discredit Putin? When the mainstream media is considering the idea of false flag when they normally ridicule it you have to wonder if it’s a false false flag. Pussy Riot are not martyrs for free speech and what they’ve done in some performances could be viewed as sexual assault/harassment. They are clearly NATO puppets being used to destabilise Russia.
