Jenna Jameson Endorses Mitt Romney

Well, why not?  After all, wafflemongers like Alec Baldwin get to have opinions all the time.  It must be admitted, Jameson’s ideas do have a direct simplicity that is very disarming.  Would you rather be popular or be correct?  And if reality is nothing more than a consensus construct, doesn’t being popular essentially make you correct?  If that’s your criterion, wouldn’t Jameson be a better keynote speaker at an economics symposium than Joseph Stiglitz?  From Nick Wing of the Huffington Post:

Retired porn star Jenna Jameson waded into the 2012 presidential race on Thursday, choosing a San Francisco strip club as the venue to announce her support for GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.

CBS San Francisco has her comments:

“I’m very looking forward to a Republican being back in office,” Jameson said while sipping champagne in a VIP room at Gold Club in the city’s South of Market neighborhood. “When you’re rich, you want a Republican in office.”

With an estimated net worth of $30 million and a resume that includes 160 films, Jameson ranks as one of the porn industry’s wealthiest players.

    Her candor is very welcome.  The rich simply don’t have any need for the public sector (transit, public schools and parks) and have no need to SS and Medicare.  Regulations only inconvenience them (they forget that laws protect the rest of us who don’t have our own team of lawyers and bodyguards).  They don’t give a rip about war cuz they never have to face consequences (like their children serving)  The price of gas has no personal consequences for them, nor does the cost of food since they find ways to spend as much as possible on it in order to avoid the riffraff.  If most of the cultural conservatives were aware of all this, the Republicans would never win another election.  They HAVE to make it about homosexuals, foreigners, and fear.

    the porn stars and politicians have a lot in common
    but I think porn stars are generally more trustworthy and honest
