Well, awesome video – as always. I hear you on the apathy thing …. but I also hear Robert Anton Wilson’s words too: “If voting made a difference, they’d make it illegal.”

“Both” parties in the country are evil – but there are degrees of evil. The Democrats are a ‘petty-thief’ kind of evil … with one hand in your back pocket, and another hand groping in your front pocket. But the Republicans are more of a ‘James Bond villain’ kind of evil – the secret lair in a hollowed-out volcano, plotting world domination kind.

Nevertheless, I still find myself dutifully voting each election … and I wish I could actually vote FOR someone I support, rather than always voting AGAINST someone I fear.

I always thought RAW was wrong about that. For a guy with the wisdom to know that if you walk out into the world expecting to find quarters on the ground, you will find quarters on the ground all the time, he really seemed unexplicably blind to the occult, ritualistic aspects of democratic republicanism.

I personally treat voting as a sacred act by which I seek to impose my will on the world to improve it, as a collective ritual in which I am engaged with millions of like minded adults all over the world. And what makes the act magick is that it is provable that if enough of us participate so as to generate the critical mass we need, we will in fact influence the direction of American government, improve the world, and do so through pure ritual and action at a distance. Pretty cool, if you ask me.

From that point of view, the fact that it’s not as much of an influence toward absolute perfection as it otherwise might be strikes me as a rather minor quibble.

obviously- the majority of cdns are far less magickally potent than our conservative counterparts whose imposed will on the majority- has allowed a corrupt pm to advance his office without second thought to the democratic process.i always suspected the wild rose party to be some kind of rosicrucian scheme.

The problem with conservatives is that they use black magick and the rest of us are just woefully underschooled at defense against the dark arts. probably because the instructor kept changing every year at hogwarts so there was no kind of cohesive curriculum presented.

There are two type of people in this country… people that vote and people that don’t. No one ever points out the obvious vote of no confidence. The ride is rigged.

Haha! I find it funny that people have access to information like this  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzmHarXR9GM and there are still millions ignorant jerk offs like lee trying to support a lie.

Lee Camp would be less of an ignorant fool if he read a few books on history and political economy.  I doubt he ever will.

Your vote provides consent to whatever thievery government banksters come up with.

    Don’t consent.

       I agree with you.

However, I don’t think Lee is an ignorant fool, he’s just naive and tries to be more optimistic than realistic. At least in this video.
