Mixed Martial Arts, Magic Mushrooms and Monotheism Don’t Mix?

A California mixed-martial artist has pleaded guilty to ripping out his friend’s heart and  tongue while the two were on hallucinogenic drugs:

 When police arrived that day at a home at the mouth of the Klamath River, they found Wyatt naked and covered in blood. He told the officers, “I killed him,” and said he had cut out Powell’s heart and tongue, according to court documents.

The officers found Powell’s body on the couch of the Requa home. His chest was cut open, and his heart, tongue and the skin of his face were gone, court records said. His heart was found charred in a wood-burning stove.

It gets worse, if you can believe it:
An autopsy determined the organs had been removed while Powell was still alive, the documents said.

    If only he had followed the way of the Plumed Serpent.  Then the only sacrifices requested are flowers, butterflies, and if you really must shed blood, birds.

      Sacrifice isn’t necessary for Kukulkan, it probably is for Quetzalcoatl though.

        More specifically I was referring to the sacrificial reforms of the Aztec priest Topiltzin who was considered an avatar of Quetzalcoatl.  I am not studied in the pre-Aztec traditions, but among the Aztec one aspect of Quetzalcoatl was Ce Acatl, the Morning Star, which was inauspicious and received many human sacrifices.  Quetzalcoatl himself was believed to have sacrificed his own burning heart to achieve the transfiguration into the Morning Star.

    I’m a fan of the Joe Rogan podcast and am kind of behind the idea Joe puts forward from time to time that a lot of uptight politicians would really be helped but just doing some mushrooms. But this story makes me question that assumption. Maybe some people are just too screwed up.

        but the emphasis seems to be on
        the drug that can open you up
        to how yer being fcked by the system
        and not on the drug-things that reinforce the system
        meth, violence & torture

        Gitmo is only slightly less heinous than this
        Iraq & Afghanistan are way beyond this
        but no ones gonna blame that shit on shrooms
        that shit will be excused & ignored by everyone
