Surveillance Video Reveals Maryland Cop Pistol Whipping Teen

Ryan Dorm spent four months in jail after Corporal Donald Taylor claimed that the 19-year-old assaulted him and caused his gun to discharge in an incident last winter.  Then surveillance footage was uncovered revealing what actually unfolded. Via Washington, D.C.’s FOX 5 :

Fox 5 has obtained surveillance video of a February 3rd incident involving a Prince George’s County police officer that seems to dispute his story about why his gun discharged.

A Cottage City 19-year-old spent nearly 4 months in jail after Corporal Donald Taylor claimed Ryan Dorm assaulted him and the gun went off as Taylor struggled with him. The surveillance video is from a business on Perry Street in the Brentwood area. Attorney Jimmy Bell, who represents Dorm, says the video shows Taylor out-and-out “lied” when he wrote up a report supporting assault charges against his client. Taylor has been indicted and faces a trial in November. Bell has filed a $10 million dollar civil lawsuit in the case.

      Still pretty shitty what he did to that kid.

        There was no arwy.  That’s not an authorized use of force or your weapon.  You have an individual, even if there was precipitating circumstances, merely walking briskly away. There are ways to physicaly take control of someone in that situation if necessary and police are trained to do so. 
        He is assaulted with a deadly weapon – a blow aimed at the back of the head or temple which could be fatal.  In many jurisdictions that would be attempted murder.

          You can bet if you intentionally struck a cop in the head with a loaded gun you’d be facing attempted murder charges.

          Especially if it discharged.

         Worse than than that, they had a copy of the video 2 days after the incident and pretended like it didn’t exist in order to protect the police officer and prosecute the victim.

    Cops who abuse power like this should be punished severely, and in public.

        Money is nice, but imagine the fun of just showing up at the donut shop once or twice a week and giving all the cops there a serious eye-fucking with them knowing that today might just be the day and they might just be the cop…

          Kid gets a card, walks up to a cop whenever he wants & flashes the card.  The cop has to give up his weapon, lace his fingers behind his head, and kneel on the ground…

    Who becomes a cop?
    Is it the best and brightest?
    No they go to Corporate Amerika.
    Is it the middle of the class?
    No they go to Walmart & Mickey D’s.
    Is it the dull witted bully?
    No they go to the Army.
    Then who becomes a cop?
    Mostly rejects and ex-Army.
    I feel safer already.

      Yeah, the smart cadets usually drop out of the academy. I used to live across the street from our local ‘police academy’, All of the intelligent ones would quit.

      Law enforcement is just a gang made up of people snubbed by some element of society, they can’t cut it in a life of their own.

       I don’t think everyone who joins the Army is a dull witted bully. Its mostly 18 year olds with not a lot of prospects in life. I have to say though that some people are drawn to violent occupations. I think it could possibly be some peoples Dharma.

      In India they had the Kshatriya caste and basically if you find your self in that caste you should strive to be righteous. Some people are built to be soldiers. Some people are drawn to Martial Arts and Contact sports. Society has a way of shunting people with certain characteristics into certain occupations

      I don’t think the case has been made that all cops or all soldiers are thugs. But obviously some are and obviously this class of people is easily manipulated to serve the interests of elites and many soldiers/cops become disillusioned because of that.  But many are no good to begin with I agree with that.

      Personally I am wired to be easily bored with low risk activities,jobs. So I gave the infantry a shot. It wasn’t my cup of tea, because it was so regimented. Also at 18 I didn’t have very well developed political/philosophical opinions.

    Good luck getting the Ten Million. I met a guy while working in a rehab with a similar story, with a similar lawsuit. I tend to believe him, but obviously you can’t believe everything you hear. But basically he was getting a beat down by a cop on a traffic stop and started fighting back and then the cop pulled out a gun to kill him and these two old white ladies that witnessed it started screaming. He was a big Rodney King sized black guy. He said the cop was a body builder that looked like he was on steroids and he actually put gloves on first to dish out the beat down.

    who runs from the cops? what a stupid question. i get nervous when cops are around me even when i havent done anything wrong. when they get behind me while im driving i start driving nervously and notice myself swerving or going under the speed limit. police intimidate people without even trying a lot of the time. you have no idea what happened or why he was running, which the video did NOT even show him running. youre sure he had it coming? why? he seems like a regular kid to me, but you call him a “young thug” probably because hes a young black male living in that area.
