Ari Shaffir Interviews Two Anon Activists

Comedian Ari Shaffir recently hosted two members of hacker collective Anonymous on his podcast, The Skeptic Tank. The audio has been posted at YouTube for those not interested in, or able to download, the audio. Strange days, indeed, when comedians are offering more real talk than the news. Part one on the front page. Part two after the jump.

Wow! I didn’t know he could be so serious!

  2. I found it challenging to get information from this podcast. From my perspective, more structure/sticking with a topic would have provided clarity. +1 for saying poon.

He’s not a journalist. He’s a crazy comedian. Compared to how he usually sounds on the Joe Rogan podcast, he seemed amazingly focused!

      •  He’s not an apricot either.

I’d be happy to put you in touch with the Anons if you have any follow-up questions. They’re on Twitter, and they’d be happy to talk about what they do.

          • I appreciate the offer, but I must decline. To be clear, I was giving feedback about the interview, and not disrespecting it. I appreciate the opportunity to witness a new perspective. I would like to note that all of us, Ari Shaffir included, have little way of knowing if those fellows really are a part of anonymous or not.

Most of the info I knew already by reading the articles about this interesting group. I am not saying these guy are or are not Anon, just that it could be faked. Which is kind of cool, in a mysterious way.

I watched them shut down Little Lollitas (child porn site) at my buddies house, they have done a lot of positive things for the interwebs and the World, though alot peeled off when they made the new Hive site.  Twitter is not actually the main hub, dig deeper Matt much deeper.

This isn’t my podcast. I just thought I’d share Ari’s interview.
