I bet he was a neighbor annoyed by the church’s noise.

Doesn’t look like social or political comment, (googled for news article) just another person with a mental health problem whose expression was violent who couldn’t get help out of the system.

Yeah, people’s projections onto the murderer and the preacher are pretty fascinating, particularly the knee-jerk condemnation of the preacher. People who hate religion have a deep-seated desire to see evil in every religious leader. It reminds me of how religious people will assume that an atheist’s crime is due to their lack of belief in God.

Of course, either projection may turn out to be true…

      • alizardx

Not interested in projection, I take Robert Anton Wilson’s advice and try to find out “what the hell is really going on”, Sometimes, I manage it.

Sally forth then, o’ seeker of the truth. Just don’t forget to laugh at the lies.

          • alizardx

Being able to laugh at lies is the only way to stay sane in a disinformation environment.

I’ve got a old lantern I could mail you.

I’m not using it any more.

keep it, in an age where the wealthy don’t want to fund infrastructure, a backup light source is always a good thing to have even if the search for an honest man.has proven futile :-)

  • leo

yeah blame it on the music first, ask questions later. Questions like: is that pastor is a child molester? a child abuser? etc. just by pure probability theory, the likelihood of the pastor/priest being the criminal is FAR MORE LIKELY than the kids who were most likely doctrined into these religious cults and got abused by it in some way shape or form till they couldn’t bottle it any more.

This is fucking retarded. A man is killed, and you insinuate that he is a criminal. Have a little decency, if you’re capable of it.

  • kowalityjesus

Very, very bizarre. It wouldn’t be so weird if the perpetrator were still alive. In order to tell what is most sacred in society, one must look to see what is most violently profaned.

  • BuzzCoastin

    THAT ROCKS!

  • ronniedobbs

its a pity this did not take place at a nickelback concert instead….

  • “Big” Richard Johnson

It’s more creative than our weekly mass shootings. I give him that.

Glad to see that there was still one American left who wasn’t afraid to “live the dream”.

    Some Christians consider guitars sinful.

    • Calypso_1

Whats the story, that the man killed a pastor (occupational hazard) or that the suspect mysteriously died in police custody? Whats the cause of death for the suspect?
