The Hidden History of Artificial Intelligence – Transhumanism and Alchemical Agendas

A potent underground idea is usually scheduled for retirement once it makes it onto the History Channel . The Ancient Alien theory was kept alive in pulpish propagation by Erich Von Daniken and Zecharia Stichen for well on four decades (not including the seeds it sprouted from, which were planted much earlier.) However, now that it’s been relegated to awkward production, fleeting interviews, constant criticism and dull dramatization, the whole mythos is starting to get a bit dry.

Liminal philosophers like Christopher Knowles and Philip Coppens , whose theories have often tread parallel the ancient runways, keep their investigations fresh by swimming in a more cosmopolitan realm of shadows and contemporary myth. So suffice to say some vestige of the Ancient Alien mythos will continue to evolve in their able and imaginative hands.  In fact they’ve already spawned some precursory predictions on the fatted cognitive calves of speculation that are about to be offered up by Feral House Press to all the hungry heresy hunters looking for a new fix of fringe history.

With the funeral dirge dancing Ancient Aliens to their starry grave, let’s celebrate the birth of the next phase in illicit initiation, an expose on the hidden history of Artificial Intelligence – Transhumanism: A Grimoire of Alchemical Agendas!

“The ultimate question is no longer “who am I” or ”why am I here.” These questions were answered in the earliest civilizations by philosophers and priests. Today we live in an age of such rapid advances in technology and science that the ultimate question must be rephrased: “what shall we be?”

This book investigates what may become of human civilization, who is setting the agenda for a trans-humanistic civilization, and why.

The modern Victor Frankenstein holds a high political office, carries diplomatic immunity, and is most likely funded by the largest corporations worldwide. His method is ancient: alchemy. His fraternities are well known and their secrets are well kept, but his goal of times past and present is the same; he dares to become as god, genetically manipulating the seeds of the earth, the beasts on the fields, and to claim legal ownership over humanity by re-creating it in his own image. This is no fairy tale, science fiction, or conspiracy theory … it simply is!

Transhumanism, a Grimoire of Alchemical Agendas by Dr.s’. Joseph P. Farrell and Scott D. de Hart lifts the veil from the macabre transhumanistic monster being assembled and exposes the hidden history and agenda that has set humanity on a collision course for the Apocalypse.”

For more information on this alchemical alignment of artilects and ancient enlightenment,  head over to Feral House and check out an excerpt.

And if you want to join in on greater glories of sacred trans-human transcendence check out the anti-thesis of Farrell’s Grimoire, Dirk Bruere’s latest book of post-human positivism – The Praxis: Transhumanism as Religion & the Conversion of Philosophy into Action

The basic transhumanist concept, more efficient and longer-lived humans through reengineering ourselves using biological and electronic technology impresses me as plain common sense, especially for those of us with neurological and physical problems.

Why spoil it by dumping religious speculation and created mythologies and ideological agendas, none of which are necessary to the recreation of ourselves as more functional than luck of the draw that gave us our genetic codes into the mix? Is this what capital-T Transhumanism is becoming? I don’t see the value-add here in turning it into New Age cult religion.

Not to say that people don’t have a right to create their own religious mythos, but what I see here is people creating various New Age religions around this theme who have emotional needs like personal identification as atheists, which prohibit them from recognizing that they are creating New Age religions and becoming religionists without realizing it. People are reinventing the wheel and refusing to recognize that its purpose is to roll. If one is going to invent a religion, better to admit it and do it in style.

“ethical guidelines, and sketches appropriate rituals” – what about this is NOT religion? (one can call it a magickal training system, of course)

Getting on board with small-t transhumanism makes sense to me. I’m not on board with capital-T Transhumanism if that’s what this belief system is turning itself into. What’s the difference between libertarianism and Libertarianism?

Selling people on being smarter and healthier and longer-lived and stronger through science and technology is one thing. Is telling people we can’t be these things without accepting new religious belief systems next?

The Church of Scientology also started as a non-religion. Once it transformed itself into religion, it got marginalized really fast.

The concept of “more efficient humans through technology” is something I’d rather not see marginalized.

Seeking truth where one can find it is one thing. When people say they know “THE TRUTH”, it’s time to bug out.

Smarter and healthier to sexually fetishize computers / AI / our future selves / unknown programmers in the sky than to religiously fetishize them.

Are you talking the Praxis part? It is pretty interesting to see the ideas taken to that extreme isn’t it?

“We will build / merge with / become Artilect Gods, and they / we will
develop super science and magick technologies to resurrect the dead by
copying them from the past to the future.”

So matter of fact! : )

Praxis, Cosmism, and there are others. Some seem to see Singularity as a religious event rather than as a metaphor for a social tipping point caused by the convergence of the expansion of scientific knowledge combined with technological development. I haven’t dug deeply into them because I regard an understanding of politics and economics as well as technology more useful for understanding what’s likely to be the future that people are actually going to live in as opposed to what we can be sold.

Philosophies are tools for helping impose a structure on the universe that will help us make sense of it. When they become religions, the participants frequently become the tools of the people who appended the religious structure and it’s time to look for hidden agendas.

Our current economic and political system will lead to these technologies deepening existing relations, inequality and oppression.

You can’t have transhumanism in isolation from its environment, let alone in another ideal environment of your rose-tinted imagination.

Transhumanism is the tool the elite power structure is craving for.

I stop at “more efficient humans through technology”. How that technology is applied is a function of the political and economic situation we live in.

You are conflating what I believe with the belief systems of those this article and my comment are discussing, who do NOT stop at “more efficient” and try to spin a mythos around the possibilities of these new technologies.

The people who look so hard at what the potential of this is and don’t look at what is going on around them as a guide to where these technologies are likely to go without the kind of substantial changes in economic structure that the survival of technological civilization will require.

The people who should be looking harder at this are the people who make new technology (as I do) and the people doing scientific research.

humans went cyborg a long time ago now
humans aren’t smart enough to set an agenda for the trans-human morph
the agenda & mythos is likely being set by the machines
if it’s being set by anything at all

humans usually stumble into new technologies
and implement them way before they understand what’s happening
the myths are an attempt at understanding
