The Yes Men Are Revolting

Yup, just like peasants in the Middle Ages, our old friends the Yes Men are revolting. You can join the latter day peasants’ revolt via their Kickstarter fundraising campaign.

What a distraction from the real truths of the world, stop pretending to help the world’s real problems

using the system to overthrow the system
is something the system would devise
    instead of kickstarting a movie
quit your job and kickstart your life

  4. Not feeling the YesMen since they signed up to do propaganda ops for Gore and the IPCC.

Do the planet a favor and wake the fuck up, you ego-fucking-maniac. You alter the chemistry of the atmosphere, you’re probably gonna effect the climate. But “No!” you say. “That is inconvenient to my world view,” But facts don’t mean anything to you, do they? Nope, you’ve got it all figured out. You just trot out ‘evidence’ from contrarians, that fits your personal narrative. Then if anyone dares to challenge it, you expect them to go into a college level explanation of why it’s not the truth, knowing that on a web forum, that’s not likely. Of course even if they did, you’d just plug your ears and scream lalalalalalalala. Because nothing can meet your burden of proof, because you simply don’t want it to be true, because it means the conclusions you’ve reached about the world may be wrong, and you can’t face that can you? You’re pathetic.

      • ….sigh typical reaction from an alarmist cult member. Can’t deal with the “contrarian” science and therefore stoops to what amounts to nothing but a long drawn out ad hominem laden rant. It’s not just that we alter the climate, of course we “alter” but to what degree, that is the question and you don’t know with any certainty to presume to attack someone for no other reason than they maintain a different perspective based on a greater commitment to understanding the arguments on either side of this politically manufactured issue. I would invite you to discuss the science but you’ve already established you are more interested in doing your best Jerry Springer guest impersonation than lifting an intellectual finger.

If you change your mind and want to intelligently demonstrate a convincing perspective that doesn’t rely on personal attacks by all means have at it.

PS> Know you listen directly to me! Thousands of years ago the medieval warm period occurred demonstrating natural fluctuations in temperature far surpassing the most alarmist projections of the IPCC. -The Ghost of Christmas Past From The Future

        • “After all, disseminators of disinformation are not interested in
an actual debate of the issues at hand; they are interested in
destroying the credibility of the person promoting those ideas.”

          • Are you familiar with something called common sense?
            http://youtu.be/zORv8wwiadQ

          • Not as you define it no. Now do you care to explain what you perceive as “common sense” or should I just infer it means whatever you believe the “majority” of climate scientists think or some such nonsense. Science isn’t majority rule for a good reason. Do you have the sense to discuss the science or are you only interested in appealing to authority?

          • No. I have no interested in “appealing” whatever… even less against stupidity, for sure. 😉
If you didn’t understand what’s the right thing to do after watching the video I shared then there’s nothing else to talk about. And don’t talk about science, because you obviously don’t know what’s that about.
After this: “whatever you believe the “majority” of climate scientists think or some
such nonsense. Science isn’t majority rule for a good reason.” bla bla bla bla bla?! Do you at least have any idea what peer review is…? Bah, you know what else? I losing my time here and I have better things to do. Bye!

        Play nice.

        • He can’t afford to discuss the science so he has to act like a child throwing a tantrum.

that was a particularly infantile instance of defending the theory of Anthropogenic Climate Change, but I think it is quite beyond a matter of debate. I don’t mean to destroy your image, either. From whence do you derive your absolution for responsibility in progressively evident global warming? It must be from an unscientific source.
