    Regardless of rats or not my heart goes out to those in the water front and other affected areas. Hopefully this will spur better building codes and engineering in general to make things easier for future generations. A lot of rats probably died, that water rushed in fast but you can be sure that they will be back to their normal numbers soon, they reproduce extremely quick and they love doing the nasty. Stay strong NYC.

    Edit: oh yeah, the video says that the stronger dominant rats were more likely to drown, not the other way around.
