I’m all for raising awareness about the hardships of mental illness, addressing that the mentally ill are vastly more likely to be the victims of violence than the perpetrators, frank discussion of suicide and self harm, trying to illustrate to those of us without schizophrenia what the condition is like, fostering understanding and compassion and all that stuff…
But that just wasn’t very good, informative, compelling, or watchable.
Sorry.

@VaudeVillain:disqus , as someone who worked in mental healthcare for many years, I’m always interested in promoting that kind of awareness. I’d love it if you’d share some good information here if you find it.

I’m a little disappointed there was no Great Porcupine to step out from behind a tree and start talking.
That’s rough. Interesting to think that “psychic driving” MK Ultra techniques mirror this state of fractured antagonism. I wonder is it inconceivable that possession could be real and not just a neurochemical mishap?

“Remember that hallucinations and delusions have no basis of reality or realistic foundation” – If the negative and malevolent hallucinations suffered by schizophrenics have no basis in ‘reality’, then the positive, healing, spiritual and beautiful hallucinations experienced by deep meditation, mystical rituals or psychedelic drugs have no basis in reality either. Thoughts?
