Oh damn I hope there’s not gonna be much of this ‘gnostic media’ stuff posted on disinfo (a little bit of research and you find out their funded by fundamentalist christian groups). Then again this post is the perfect example of disinformation so maybe if it was painted in that light it would be more reasonable, and less infowars-david icke wing-nut crazy.

    • Influenced by fundamentalist Christian groups? How’s that? Because he had one guest one regarding Darwin and the New World Order? Have you ever heard of not killing the messenger, or ad hominem attacks? How is this video disinfo? You’ve provided no examples exept your attacks on the presenter, rather than the work. Do you have anything intelligent to offer to support your claims, or all they all this baseless? I presume regarding the Christian fundamentalist, you didn’t even read the intro to that episode before you just started name calling and using fallacies to do your thinking for you regarding research you didn’t study:

“I should point out that Ian is a Christian, and we’ve decided to put our religious differences aside and focus on the research, so those of you familiar with the trivium, please don’t kill the messenger, don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. Ian is not the first Christian that we’ve had on the show, and we should know better than to dismiss all of his research due to his religious biases. Just sit back and listen to what Ian has to say, and how it overlaps with my own recent discoveries. Ian finished writing this book 28 years ago, and he’s 81 years old, so please forgive him where age has taken its toll. ”

ignorant people who think with fallacies (lies) are the most ignorant of any kind. Please use critical thinking and citations rather than name calling.

    • Wow! Ok please provide a cogent argument to substantiate anything you’ve said here. I will take the bait. Also feel free to present any aspect of this you take issue with and you know, present a logical argument against it.

“slavery is not out there, it’s in your head is the heart of the matter”
disentangling from that slavery requires the ability to reprogram one’s mind
one of those disentangling reprogramming tools
is knowing what those symbols are targeting & their desired effect
    it’s a hero’s journey
and a path not often taken

    • Thank you Buzz. As always a poetic, precise and pleasant yet poignant reminder that I’m not alone in seeing. Cheers mate.

        谢谢 back at cha
what I’d prefer to see/hear in these type of presentations
are exit strategies/tactics, which rarely appear with the revelations of manipulation
plus it’s not really content that’s the hypnotist
content is the shiny object (Disinfo)
        the medium is the massage
so Jose can you see any exit strategies?
        would be my question

Let me first thank you for your awesome video and I’m honored to see that my work inspired you to produce it… You see, in a way, my spell is working.

I think the first step to break free of the chains is to realize that we have shackles.

          Exit strategies:
I agree with you (and Mcluhan), the medium IS the message; magic can be used against itself (if a spell is show from a different angle, you might see the hole in the hat where the rabbit is hidden). Juxtaposition of “conflicting” symbols neutralizes their emotional load and shows them for what they are. Here is a little clip I made that uses that technique:

Thanks again for the interest man!

no prob dude, glad you didn’t hate it

though I think understanding symbols is foundational
understanding the effects of media environments is crucial
            to escaping the herd mind

            & even with that
            it’s not a steady state
that’s how fucking fierce the conditioning is
I’ve known lots of people who know they’re creating their reality
and still act & believe contrarywise to what they claimed to know
            usually just moments before

I like your vidz kinder, gentler approach to the matter
and I agree, group ritual has it’s services to balance it’s disservices
& there have been times when I have found ritual extremely helpful
but I try not to get attached to any one prop
lest I start get stuck in con-cepts

          • See also this:

“The law says persons are humans or corporations, and that incorporation papers are the closest thing to manifesting a corporation.”
(a legal argument made rather a while ago in California)

          • Jose are you on Twitter?

        • You certainly did! BRAVO!!

  3. Monkey See Monkey Do | Jan 11, 2013 at 7:28 pm |

Not Ian. Jan Irvin is the closet christian. Not hard to find out.

  4. Calypso_1 | Jan 11, 2013 at 7:37 pm |

Utilizing fallacies in no way implies thinking with fallacies.

    • So using lies consciously does not mean you are flawed in your thinking? What is the point of truth then Calypso? To be able to abuse it while maintaining it doesn’t exist?

  5. Trevor Smith | Jan 12, 2013 at 2:44 pm |

Irvin may have a couple interesting things to say but he employs countless fallacies in his paranoia-driven work. Much of his stuff is entirely based on guilt by association to. He’s made countless threats to anyone who disagrees with him and constantly deletes posts, all the while accusing them of not shifting through his 6,000 references, many of which are impossible to get because they reference his own books.

    • Provide one example. Deleting posts which avoid logic and promote confusion and irrational are his prerogative as moderator. Actually most of the references are in the public domain and easily accessible online in my experience. Again you are welcome to cite your own examples and sources and if you present the accusation then the onus is on you to show and prove. Fair enough?

In a Civilization based on Sorcery, whereby the majority are the victims of said sorcery, what would be the main requirement of that sorcery?

A majority of the public not accepting the reality of sorcery? A materialistic worldview?

I liked, it but, what is the role of an interviewer? To interrupt and distract the guest from the topic? Jan has a lot of good stuff though.

    • Actually I just watched the youtube video and Jan’s interview style actually makes the presentation easier to follow by breaking it up and making it more conversational!

  8. Jose Barrera | Jan 28, 2013 at 12:54 pm |

    Hi Camron,

Here is a follow-up on that presentation. It is an interview I gave last night on Critical Mass Radio.
