Disclosure Project’s Dr. Steven Greer on the Joe Rogan Experience

Disinfo.com friend Joe Rogan recently interviewed Dr. Steven Greer of the Disclosure Project. Greer’s group advocates for full government disclosure regarding what they believe to be a longstanding history of alien visitations to Earth. A controversial figure, Greer claims to have seen UFOs and even an alien body. Watch the interview here, or download the audio podcast here.

I’m really curious to see how this turns out. A lot of guys are used to a lecture format and Joe Rogan takes them right out of it.

not a lot of weed being smoked on this one…

I can’t help but think Greer is talking to the bad aliens. Why would the aliens want to talk to People working at the highest echelons of the Military Industrial Complex, on black budget projects? I mean these people are not my friends.

Or maybe the Aliens sense these are the people who are in charge. I tend to think this is related somehow to Opticus.

  • http://twitter.com/TedHeistman Ted Heistman

What if he is talking to the Aliens that introduced to humanity the Wetiko virus?

  • http://twitter.com/TedHeistman Ted Heistman

Why does he say “singularity” when he means “singleness” or “unity”?

  • http://twitter.com/TedHeistman Ted Heistman

It seems almost like the Aliens are the same entities previously referred to as Satan or Ahriman.

    • Antediluviancurrent

So what if they are? I see that as good news, not as bad news.

“5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
        6 And
the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory
of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give
        it.
7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
        8 And
Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is
written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou
        serve.”

I think PKD would have seen the Kingdoms being offered to Christ as the Black Iron Prison of the State.

          • Gad The Father

If PKD spoke in terms of global UFO/abduction symbolism vs. Christian mythological language specifically, he would have eventually noticed that “VALIS/Christ” and the “Greys/Archons” are two sides of the same oscillating coin (or UFO)

          • jnana

no, not really. That’s like saying the “all is one” mantra. If its true we’re all one, then we’re alone.
anyway, Christ liberates beings from the oppressive rule of the archons. the devil is an imitator, so if there are similar qualities between “greys/archons” and “VALIS/Christ” I think that is why.
read about the antichrists in Revelation.

I don’t think a being 6 inches tall can be as intelligent as a human. I don’t think it would have enough neurons, for self awareness to emerge.

    • http://www.facebook.com/kelly.kintzley Kelly Kintzley

The soul, brain, and mind are all separate. Judging intelligence by appearance or physical traits is the wrong approach. A sperm whale’s brain is 5 times the mass of a human brain, on average. Are they more intelligent? 5 times more intelligent? Could be…

Whales are a lot more intelligent than anything that is 6 inches Long. The most intelligent mammals aside from humans are the great apes, cetaceans and elephants.

there are birds 6″ long that are easily as smart as whales

It has much more to do with gyrification (cortical folding). Among primates (of which some are such a small scale) the increase in brain size to gyrification is not simply a matter of scaling. Humans developed a much higher ratio of folding in multiple brain regions even in relation to the direct increase in size. Theoretically a smaller creature could also have this attribute. There are specific genes that have been discovered to account for these factors. For example, though they are of lesser body mass & have smaller brains ferrets have comparable gyrification to cats.

and dolphins have greater gyrification than humans, if I remember correctly.

Ok, well that is good to know if I ever make up a six inch tall intelligent alien for a Sci Fi story. Seriously. But I am still skeptical of this little skeleton.

  • http://twitter.com/TedHeistman Ted Heistman

OK, so Now I am getting the impression, 3/4 through that he is not saying the Aliens are working directly with these shadowy Elites, but that they have just classified a lot of evidence. But then he is saying his mother is a DAR and he gets to talk to these people because of his “family background” and that he has talked to these people in Majestic 12, briefed the President etc. etc.

I am still feeling ambivalent about this guy. I think the little “humanoid being” is very “Melba Ketchumesque”

I have a job now and I am attempting to bring a measure of stability into my life. I got a job revoicing phone calls into Dragon VR to create captions for the hearing impaired. Apparently Dragon likes me.

Hey, is it just me, or is anyone else here put off by this Greer dude? I smell bullshit and MAJOR EGO ISSUES with this guy. Beyond what he is saying, which I find dubious at best, there is something abut the guy that is red lining my BS meter. Anyone?

    • echar

The topic is interesting, but my gut tells me it’s some sophisticated marketing.

    • http://twitter.com/TedHeistman Ted Heistman

No I don’t think you are alone in that.

      • http://twitter.com/TedHeistman Ted Heistman

Of course he could seem kind of shady, but 75% of what he says might be legit.

        • Juan

I dunno, man. Beyond the shifty-eyed thing, having all the answers, name dropping like mad, major self aggrandizement, and suggesting special knowledge and secret contacts, there is something else going on that I can’t quite put my finger on.
Maybe it is precisely because he is suggesting exactly what many people have suspected for many years that is bugging me. It seems to me, that he is saying exactly what people interested in UFOs want to hear. I guess that alone is enough to make me suspicious.
Anyway, I would not buy a used car from this clown, would you?

I personally don’t like Spooks. So they always trip red flags for me. I just don’t like the attitude and mindset. Occasionally there will be a whistleblower, and I will be like “well WTF were you doing working for the CIA/FBI/NSA or whatever to begin with?”

        • Juan

Also, just that he suggests being on cozy terms with high ranking spooks and military officials is a major red flag. The guy is from Virginia. Isn’t that spook central? Not that geographic proximity really maekes that much difference, but when he mentions a CIA connection, well . . .

To sum it up, basically he said he is psychic, and communicates with the Aliens, and the richest most powerful people in the World talk to him because of this and because of his family background. He wants to declassify technology that will give everyone free energy. He has seen a chupacabra carcass.

Sounds exactly like 90% of the people interviewed by “Project Camelot” which he was. Except he even raised Their red flags. I think the best interview I ever saw them do was this guy:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfM23rAZTSQ

  • Mark

He’s not talking BS, he’s risking his neck out to get change to happen and exposing this secret government … I’ve followed this guy since 2001.. he’s talking facts not guessing.. and has over 500 ex army / navy personel that were involved in black projects to do with ufos that are all wanting to testify under oth in congress. he has lots of top secret documents and has spoken to many US Government figures that didn’t have a clue about the whole subject and want this to be disclosed but are affraid of being ridiculed. even ex Astronaughts have come out about capturing aliens on camera on the moon.

    • Linda Paulus

What he says is very compelling, but, at the same time, I have the same feeling listening to him that Juan does. I just wonder: if he’s had all this proof for years, why isn’t he showing film until now? I just watched a visually boring youtube video called Dr. Stephen Greer: The Time is Now I think, and it was just a camera on his face for four long parts. It was made a while ago, and he makes some incredible claims about things he and his group have done. So, why didn’t he include video to support those claims? I mean, if I knew that there was high likelihood of meeting with aliens, I’d certainly have a video camera recording the whole thing. It’s puzzling.

      • http://www.facebook.com/mark.bestwick Mark Bestwick

He has shown video about his CE-5 meetings. there are lots of videos he has done. He sees it as it being more credible to show footage of ex government personnel that worked in NASA, CIA and FBI and others which is credible than showing aliens as most viewers would think he’s a fraud if he showed aliens and no one would believe him.

You guys may wanna take a look at this:

    http://print-humanbeingsfirst.blogspot.com/2011/01/letter-is-steven-greer-mossad-agent.html

The dude is suggesting that Greer is either a patsy or a willing participant in a psyops project designed to prime the public for a stage managed “UFO invasion” with the intent getting the entire world on board with a one-world- government.
Now I know there is whole sub-group of conspiracy theorists out there whose main obsession is the coming one-world-gubmit. Hmm . . .

I love how he says he talked to Carl Sagan in 1997, when he died in 1996. I would love to believe him, and I feel like some of what he claims is true, but he seems super sketchy.

    • CapnFoo

Learn to listen, he said that in 1997 he worked with someone at a conference that had worked with Carl Sagan in the past. He never claimed to have met him. People like you just look for something to discredit instead of listening carefully and analyzing the facts afterwords.

And to be truthful, when I say I filmed a craft over my tent in 1989, I now say 1989 or so, because, I would have to go back and really think on that. It does not make me a liar, when I jump from 1989 to 1990.

Non-locality as applied to consciousness or the quantum world – is real, it exists, it’s been proven “locally” on Earth w/ humans in controlled experiments, etc. The occultist’s have known about these “experimental protocols” for a very long time. In fact, the late great Ingo Swann was the first to talk about the rings of Jupiter before we had the hardware to verify it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ingo_Swann#Swann.27s_Jupiter_rings Very interesting stuff!

    Why all the Greer bashing?

Let me get this straight… Juan and Ted Heistman, You guys don’t buy his story because he sounds TOO credible? That’s just plain stupid.

I have been following Dr. Greer for many years, I have followed the Disclosure Project, I have even met the guy in person at UFO Congress. I have reviewed BOTH sides of the argument when it comes to Greer, he is very credible and honest. I don’t agree with EVERYTHING he says, but I know he is no lier or disinformation artist. Do some research before you make up your mind about someone after ONE interview.

  • John Pollard

I went to Charlottsville, VA. to watch a big screen showing of Disclosure Project’s movie that was made as a result of Dr. Greer and his people interviewing for the National Press Club conference. I found the information presented to be very convincing. I met Dr. Greer and I wasn’t greatly impressed by him, but I was impressed with the information presented. I think he is sincere in what he believes and think that much of what he says has validity. I watched the latest movie that he did , The Sirius Video and find his assertions hard to believe and not backed up by any hard science. I don’t doubt that there are people in the government who have information to show that we have had encounters with aliens, but the “humanoid like” creature that was featured in the Sirius video has been tested and found to contain human DNA. I am still impressed with the original Disclosure Project video and wish that he would gather more people and do another one or have another conference like the National Press Conference that was held in 2001.
