Ritual Killings Suspected As Dozens Of Pet Dogs Disappear In Idaho’s Magic Valley

Beware the purple cloth. Fox News reports:

The disappearances of nearly 40 dogs from southern Idaho is baffling authorities and raising concerns after dogs were found dead under mysterious circumstances, with one found with its head crushed in a suspected ritual killing.

Nearly 40 dogs have been reported missing since November in an agricultural region in south-central Idaho known as the Magic Valley. “The dogs seem to vanish into thin air,” said animal shelter director Debbie Blackwood.

Authorities grew even more concerned after a German shepherd was found apparently stoned to death earlier this month. Blackwood says the dog appeared to have suffered a “ritualistic execution,” in which its head was crushed with rock and its carcass covered with a purple cloth.

Until the bit about the purple cloth I was prepared blame sasquatches.

  2. Maybe a dog has turned on it’s own and is now the first known canine serial killer? Or better yet a gang of cats.

Nothing worse than wannabe Satanists. We have them to thank for making the real ones look bad.

    • How do you know if the writer of this article didn’t add details?

I don’t. But I checked the link after reading your comment and this stood out as well; according to them it’s happening in an area “known as the Magic Valley”.

Yeah, thanks for that, Fox. It’s quoted in the post we have here, just didn’t catch the implication until I saw it come from them.

        • It’s Fox

        • I live in Treasure Valley, but grew up in Magic Valley. There are a lot of valleys in Idaho, so certain towns that are in those valleys are grouped together under the valley’s name. I can assure you… our news and networking systems are blowing up with reports of missing dogs that owners are worried about. Unfortunately, sometimes they are found after they have gone missing and it’s not good.

Paper Boys finally exact their revenge on dogs.

    In the meantime,
hundreds of people in Afghanistan are ritually murdered every day
    by Der Homeland’s war machine.
    No mystery there.

  5. I am from this area in Magic Valley, and this is STILL happening every day! There are pictures of missing dogs turning up frequently around here. This has been reported in the news here, and on CNN as well. Now everyone is encouraging everyone else to report it to the police and the local shelter… so there have been many more! There have been witnesses and certain vehicles that are being reported as well to look out for. They are even going into people’s garages to steal their dogs and getting dogs off of craigslist from owners trying to find homes for their pets. Horrible things are being done to the dogs or they just disappear. There have been ritualistic signs with some, but with others, there have been signs of being used as bait dogs to warm up fighting dogs or or to use for fighting dogs to practice on. There is a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of a dog fighter in this area. Idaho has one of the worst animal cruelty laws in the United States too. And that law was just passed within the last year. Before that, there wasn’t one. It is VERY disheartening to live here sometimes.

There was a case similar to this in the ’70’s. It was later revealed to be the work of a teenaged Jeffrey Dahmer.
