  1. ‘What if one day there was a war & no one turned up’…put all the apathetic people in the military!

I live in Porltland, OR. And listening to this dude rant every week on disinfo (I can usually only make it about 1 minute in before I have to push stop) is about as interesting and informative as having to listen to the local, self-important stoners rant about “the man” on our public transit whenever I forget my headphones. I used to love the posts on Disinfo when I was younger. And I grew up with the DVD’s and would rent them when I first moved to a town where the video store was cool enough to carry the series for rental. I have to credit Disinfo with introducing me to some of my favorite artists and thinkers and concepts. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for you guys and will be eternally grateful for the things you have turned me on to. But I have to say there has always been this strange vibe that has crept in from time to time. It’s a half Lsd- fried nonsense sort of vibe, and then a half Ancient Aliens guy meme type feel. These videos in particular have really bummed me out consistently since you started posting them. Ugh, it’s just so bad! Why! You are so much better than this! Aren’t you? Right? Please?

Gods! The pathos of your tale, the remarkable journey –

      you have wrecked My Soul!

      Oh Portlander
we have sorely been deprived of your voice amongst our midst for too long. Penitents under the sign of your wisdom we shall become. Pray, linger amongst these mere knaves.

I fall into your words with such ravenous hunger.

Deprive me not lest my ravings become salacious and upon you I cling with mad wantonness.
