Supremely Creepy Catholic Operating System: SOUL OS

Viral marketing of some sort, or has the Catholic Church decided to go full creeper? I don’t speak or read Polish, but if you can, you might find more about what this is all about here.
Thanks, Jan!

  1. Using Google translator, the title reads as

    “Brand stories well developed
Consumers are more than ever looking for engaging stories told by Brands.
We are an agency that helps our clients create compelling stories for
their Mark and implement them in all channels of communication.”

I am pretty sure this is a really good spoof. The content and the voice actor give me that feeling as well.

a google of “SOUL OS” returns 4 legitimate returns

one of them is from here

      • I am open to it being legit, I am hoping it’s a spoof.

it seems like a well made spoof
          with pro-level production values
          but like most advertising
          the content is worthless

          • I am going by my gut on this one, I try not to google in instances like this. It’s a test for myself, besides google is another medium.

I have adopted that perception into my collection, thank you for explaining it. I found a nice collection of McLuhan PDFs. I plan on studying them.

  2. Should have called it Pedo OS

Why do Catholics worship the Pope?

    • For the same reason they do most everything. If they don’t, they risk their soul?

    • They don’t worship him, they believe he is infallible. The first split from the Catholic Church was because of this belief. The Eastern Orthodox did not agree so they formed their own church. However, this did not prevent them from being included in the Councils of Nicaea and the resulting Ecumenical Councils where the Canonical Bible was determined. But no one else was included.

Man, just when I thought I had gotten all the laughs I was going to out of Catholicism… comedy gold… don’t know if it’s legit. Don’t much care.

  7. I do speak Polish. Viral marketing… not a spoof. It’s a campaign by the pope John Paul II Centre of Thought in Warsaw. “The Operating System for the Soul” is meant to encourage people to consider their soul while living their online lives. hypermediaisobar is the marketing agency which runs the site. More here (in Polish)

    • You’re in denial of it’s pure evil like a mealy mouthed maggot is of a pile of shit.

by the way it was your phantom hater that voted those comments down, not me. Sorry about the emotional language, but I do feel like people are racist against Christians just because its cool to be against the token ‘established religion.’

            not cool, I say.

          • I used to be Christian. I didn’t know it was a race.

          • I know KJesus, and I am sure you are a decent person.

            I still love you. 🙂

I perceive it the way I do because I was raised strict Latter Day Saint. I realized once I got older how many lies were ingrained in my worldview.

I have spent many years studying religion. The truth about the atrocities are not only suppressed but also lied about by those who committed them.

There’s some nuns and churchgoers who I am certain are amazing people, but that doesn’t change how much their organization stinks.
