MAGNASANTI: The Totalitarian Buddhist Utopia

Behold: The Totalitarian Buddhist civilization MAGNASANTI!

We all saw what a “hellish nightmare” the future could be in Civilization II, what with all the constant war and nuclear holocaust. Well, if that world wasn’t your cup of tea, here’s the perfect world you’ve been waiting for: MAGNASANTI. Constructed in Sim City 3000, MAGNASANTI is “The Final City” built entirely on the basis of perfect equilibrium, using the “Flower of Life” (Metatron’s Cube) for the foundation, MAGNASANTI is as much of a work of art as it is a disturbing glimpse into the future of urban planning.

That is neither the Flower of Life, nor Metatron’s Cube.

The Flower of Life is the basis of Metatron’s Cube. Apologies if I accidentally equated the two.

No apologies necessary, but though the design in the video is based on square geometries, it is still not Metatron’s Cube.

But it is a cool video. Thanks for the share.

this reminds me a lot of Beijing
the planning parameters and results are pretty similar
except Beijing will take another 50 years to fully deploy
but it already holds about 20 million people
probably +75 million when it’s fully loaded

I’m sure the Chinese planners were just as optimistic about their plan
butt I find it to be a living hell
but to the Chinese, it’s living in heaven
