Documentarian Claims Secret Service Agent Was ‘Second Shooter’ in JFK Assassination

JFK220Decades later, and controversy continues around the death of JFK. The latest theory posits that a Secret Service agent accidentally shot the president.

Via HuffPo:

At the Television Critics Association press tour in Los Angeles on Sunday, producers and investigators behind Reelz Channel’s new documentary “JFK: The Smoking Gun” made the claim that George Hickey, a Secret Service agent riding in the car behind Kennedy, accidentally shot the president on Nov. 22, 1963. The film follows veteran police detective Colin McLaren in his four-year investigation of the assassination and points at Hickey, who died two years ago.

McLaren’s research built on the work of Howard Donahue, who spent 20 years studying the assassination and had his findings documented in Bonar Menningerā€™s book Mortal Error: The Shot That Killed JFK. McLaren and Menninger were on hand Sunday to take questions about their film, which the network billed in press notes as a “docudrama.”

Wonder where they keep that film of the Kennedy assassination they show every incoming president and click here to keep reading.

  1. For actual JFK assassination footage, google on Zapruder film… probably on youtube.

As for “who really did it” (even the general public doesn’t believe the official version) – we’ll probably never know until somebody involved reveals it or somebody stumbles across the records.

Inquiries involving actual witnesses probably no longer possible. One of the highest risk occupations of the 1960s was JFK Assassination eyewitness.

    • Agreed, I don’t think the “who” is important anymore at all. As you almost said, they are probably dead. The “why” is much more important to us. And there were so many “whys”…

I think the real question is more; “Who” in the government at that time didn’t want it to happen? And that list is/was very short.

      • If we know who, we’ll probably know why. Actually, the weirdest thing about it is that we don’t know who. Secrets have a tendency to leak. People talk, people stumble on old records.

        • I think who gave the order is much more important than who was hired to perform the task. Might seem like semantics, but the name of the trigger man seems irrelevant to me. Just another obstacle to get through.

    ha. bonar.

  3. o_o …I will never understand why people thought that man was good looking…

    • How germane!

Well, I couldn’t think of a funnier way to express the fact that I couldn’t give less of a fuck.

Sorry your panties got in a twist, but its not as though you’ve never made a completely irrelevant comment about the attractiveness of a female:

        You, 7 months ago:
“Abbey can bring that dress and her sledgehammer to my house any day. We
would be splitting wood for about two minutes before a different
        activity would commence”

(p.s. You share entirely too much information online. I’m pretty sure I could find you if I cared enough. Just a friendly reminder…)

        • Whose panties are in a twist? And on a daily basis it seems…

Hey, I am right here, right where I always have been; here! Hunt me down. And then what?

Incisive as always, although I did/do miss the humor. You must have taken the Howie Mandel/Bob Saget online comedy course. Money well spent!

          BTW, no panties, commando!

As for Abby, of course I was talking about discussion of corruption in general. Why is your mind in the gutter?

As for tracking you down? Eh, never mind:

Say whatever you want; they have everyone’s number now.

As for “panties in a twist”, why exactly do you expect me to just take your insult? I don’t like you. You are not a friend of mine. You replied to me. If you didn’t want a reaction, you wouldn’t have said anything at all. Obvious troll is obvious.

P.S. Bob Saget is hilarious. šŸ˜

          • Oh Charlotte… Feeling’s mutual, and no he is not.

A month later…don’t you have anything better to do than to continue to argue with a girl the same age as the Olsen twins? Grow up.

JFK was killed by a JFK from an alternate reality where he survived.

I’ve heard that if you’re the last surviving version of yourself, you become super-humanly strong and fast. There’s a documentary about it that Jet Li did.

Perhaps the whole strategy to keep thick this mystery involves to sink us in more and more contradictory ‘information’ regarding the kennedy case.
