Transhumanism’s Primordial Error

The Voice of the Devil.

All Bibles or sacred codes have been the causes of the following Errors.

1. That Man has two real existing principles Viz: a Body & a Soul.
2. That Energy, call’d Evil, is alone from the Body, & that Reason, call’d Good, is alone from the Soul.
3. That God will torment Man in Eternity for following his Energies.

But the following Contraries to these are True

1. Man has no Body distinct from his Soul for that call’d Body is a portion of Soul discern’d by the five Senses, the chief inlets of Soul in this age
2. Energy is the only life and is from the Body and Reason is the bound or outward circumference of Energy.
3 Energy is Eternal Delight

-William Blake “The Marriage of Heaven and Hell”

Identifying with your body, is an error, but less of an error than identifying with your mind.… Read the rest

Scumbag Judge Gets 28 Years for Role in Scheme to Incarcerate Children for Profit

mark-ciavarella-mugshot.400x800For-profit correction facilities? What could possibly go wrong?

Via Rolling Out:

Judge Mark A. Ciavarella, 63, serves as an example of why the private prison industry can do more harm than good. Ciavarella worked alongside owners of private juvenile facilities to ensure that the prison remained occupied. The more prisoners equated to more profits for the owners of the prison.

As a result, Ciavarella would sentence offenders with small offenses to months and, at times, years behind bars. He once sentenced a teen to three months in jail for creating a MySpace page that mocked her school’s assistant principal. Ciavarella also sentenced another teen to 90 days in jail after a simple schoolyard fight.

But after a federal investigation, it was discovered that Ciavarella and his colleague, Judge Michael Conahan, received more than $2.6 million from privately run youth centers owned by PA Child Care. In 2011, Ciavarella was convicted of racketeering and sentenced to 28 years in prison.

Twin Study to Explore Genetic Aspects of Space Health

Twin studies are the Holy Grail of medical research, but in some fields its very rare to find qualifying sets of siblings. Two astronaut twins (imagine the odds!) are giving scientists at the Baylor College of Medicine the opportunity to study the genetic aspects of human health outcomes in outer space.

dn23999-2_300New Scientist:

“We have the best ground control you could dream of,” says Graham Scott of the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, who is helping NASA with the experiment. The question of space health is especially timely as several human trips to Mars are currently being discussed.

Last year, Scott Kelly was chosen to take part in the first one-year mission aboard the ISS, double the usual stay, along with Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko. Then last week NASA announced a twist: his brother Mark will be monitored on Earth throughout.

John Charles, chief scientist of NASA’s human research programme, says the brothers came up with the idea: “I was discussing plans with Scott and he said, ‘how about the twins angle?’ ”

Researchers will have access to blood and saliva samples from both twins taken before, during and after Scott’s trip to the ISS, along with assessments of their vision, sleep patterns and cardiovascular activity.

Christian Children’s Entertainer Ronald William Brown Planned to Kidnap and Eat Children

Screen Shot 2013-08-06 at 1.24.50 PMNaturally, this real-life ogre (and his creepy puppet) frequently warned children against the danger of pornography in his Christian ministry videos.

There are no words.

Via New York Post:

Ronald William Brown, from Largo, Florida, was handed the sentence for possession of child pornography.

This was despite him regularly warning children about the sin of pornography on his long-running Christian Television Network show.

Brown, 58, also plotted online with Michael Arnett about targeting a specific child to kill and eat.

“I imagine him wiggling and then going still,” Brown is reported telling Arnett in their online chats.

Hairy Man-Beasts Cause Electronic Interference?

imagesA fascinating bit of observation regarding Sasquatch-like creatures and the interference with electronic devices that supposedly accompanies them. Maybe there’s a reason Bigfoot’s picture is always blurry.

Via Mysterious Universe:

In Jon’s very own words: “We liaised very closely with Geoff Lincoln, an absolutely invaluable researcher based in the area. We gave him our planned arrival time, and asked if any of the eye-witnesses would be prepared to speak to us. Much to our ever-lasting delight, five out of the six were.”

Geoff also showed Jon no less than three locations where sightings of the beast-man had occurred: “We carried out a thorough series of photographic mapping exercises, and did our best to fend off the incessant inquiries from the press. Just after lunchtime, a TV crew from a local television company arrived and filmed interviews with our investigation team. It was only after they had gone that we realized something very strange was happening.”

Jon was not wrong.

Shark Had ‘Devil Horns’

"That shark has devil eyes!"

“That shark has devil eyes!”

Just in time for “Shark Week” comes this story of a devilish shark:

Via Discovery:

A new prehistoric shark, Diablodontus michaeledmundi aka “Devil-Tooth,” has been found in a chunk of Flagstaff, Ariz., limestone.

The shark must have been super tough, as its species survived the world’s biggest extinction event (the Permian-Triassic extinction).

PHOTOS: Could a Prehistoric, 60-Foot Shark Still Exist?

Devil Tooth not only had wickedly shark teeth, it also sported head spikes that gave it a devilish appearance. The spikes either evolved for defense or for sexual selection. In other words, the spikes must have turned on members of the opposite sex, similar to how horns of some animals today catch the eyes of potential mates.

What’s So Great About Free Speech Anyway?

Odysseus and the SirensImagine the world’s various nations are like big boats floating along the ocean. The ship’s captains demand total silence on deck, they concentrate on where they’re going and its everyone else’s job to support them by agreeing the current course is the only realistic choice.

Then one of the boat’s captains invents a mad idea called “free speech” where people are allowed to criticise his choices. All the other captains are horrified, from their point of view this was a dangerous choice, it could result in mutiny.

Oddly, over time, a number of other ships try this “free speech” idea out. Why would any of them even entertain such an idea?

In short, it’s because it took only a small period for boats with “free speech” to gain massive advantages over the others. They began to spot their mistakes and correct them. This led to a massive upsurge in scientific development enabling them to build things like factories where they produced guns, tanks, bombs and so forth.… Read the rest

Man Who Murdered Entire Family as Teenager Now a College Professor

Screen-Shot-2013-08-01-at-2.51.22-PM-2To what extent can a person convicted of a horrific crime be redeemed? Are there some limits to rehabilitation? These are questions some people are asking after having discovered one man’s horrific past:

Via Addicting Info:

It was a hot summer night just outside of Austin, Texas, when 15-year-old James Wolcott shot his mother, father, and young sister to death, for no reason at all. Almost five decades later, James (now St. James) enjoys the status and respect of a longtime college professor.

The murders of the Wolcott family were the kind of shocking event that embeds itself into the conscience of a community. The father, Dr. Gordon Wolcott, was the head of the biology department at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. The mother, Elizabeth Wolcott, was active in the local church circle. Sister Libby was 17-years-old that summer in 1967. James and Libby had gone to a show in Austin on the night of August 4th.… Read the rest
