A Quick Conversation with Lovecraft Scholar and ‘Nazi Occult’ Author Kenneth Hite

Kenneth Hite is a game designer, author and Lovecraft historian. His newest book is The Nazi Occult, a curious mix of history, speculation and fiction exploring the Reich’s occult explorations. If you’re into pulpy, fun reads and things like yeti and Djinn fighting Nazi explorers (all illustrated!), then this is a book that you probably need for your collection.

I love the idea of remote Nazi expeditions coming under attack by yetis in the Himalayas!

I think the Yeti’s became Nazi bodyguards. I think there is a lot of potential for Yeti fiction especially really dark shit. I don’t think those yetis are 100% inncocent!

        The real Aryan Master Race!

I knew a guy that had an awesome premise for this- I don’t know if he’s ever going to develop it so I don’t want to get into too much detail, but it would be soooo awesome that you just know it will never see the light of day!

I’d read it. I am sick the Harry and the Henderson take on Sasquatch. They obviously get off on scaring the shit out of people. There needs to be some dark stuff written!

  • Ted Heistman

Love the Blavatsky-esque take on the Yetis!

Kenneth Hite is the man. Love his roleplaying writing.
