In Case You Missed It: Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Weed’

I missed Sanjay Gupta’s special report/documentary/mea culpa “Weed” because I was too busy wrapping up work in time for the season premiere of “Breaking Bad”. If you didn’t catch it and want to see what you missed, then we’ve got it here. You might be able to watch it at CNN’s site, but you’ll probably need more patience for slideshow and commercials than I have. I prefer the YouTube upload… at least until they get around to taking it down.

I am so pissed, I missed the Breaking Bad premier. I thought my DVR was set to record it, lo and behold this morning; it wasn’t there. I could’ve snapped my remote in two.

This is why a lot of people have made the internet their DVR.

This guy is a corporate tool. But at least he’s finally admitted he was wrong.
Hopefully, it will get him and others to question a bit more of the dominant narrative.

This documentary is incredibly tepid and pedestrian, even though Dr. “Ganjay Supta” has admitted he was wrong about his previous beliefs about the Cannabis. It’s amazing how the “Land of the Free” makes it more legal to be sick than to be cured of a disease, because the solution is a natural herb on the ground, one that cannot be patented.

Great doc. The research study by the “pot doc” neurologist lady was interesting.

The conclusion that “Early Onset” smokers showed decreases in prefrontal white matter conductivity and increases risks of diseases and disorders later in life cannot be cannot be considered apart from it’s socioeconomic correlations.

I’d bet that demographically speaking, younger habitual substance users come from disadvantaged or dysfunctional life situations.

If families cannot afford nutritious food, opt to buy a bigger TV instead of paying a babysitter, or contain abusive and dysfunctional dynamics of course their children are going to be statistically more likely to grow up to be stroked out, stressed out, dysfunctional individuals.

    I may have seen it
but I was smokin’ weed at the time & I can’t really remember
was he in a low-rider with Cheech in a movie?
    Breaking Bad, I hate baseball
I think I’ll watch Cheech talk about pot on YouTube
    he’s for it, right?
