Mormon Cult Leader Warren Jeffs Releasing Insane Prophesies From Prison

warren jeffsWondering what pure madness looks like? Arizona’s ABC 15 reports:

Warren Jeffs is a self-proclaimed “prophet of God,” and he’s now sharing his prophecies with one of Arizona’s top leaders — Attorney General Tom Horne.

From behind bars in Palestine, Texas, Jeffs telephones his followers who transcribe his words and often send copies of them to public officials. The ABC15 Investigators have obtained copies of correspondence sent to Horne’s office last month. The “revelations” are a mixture of orders, visions and demands. See the revelations sent on July 5, July 12, and July 23.

Horne said he’s concerned because the revelations show that Jeffs still has control over the FLDS community in Colorado City, Ariz. Jeffs is the leader of the polygamist FLDS church, but he’s currently serving more than 100 years in prison for child molestation.

  1. 38. Order. Full. God. Holy. Lord. Power. Amen.

  2. Oh wow. That’s almost crazy enough to be mainstream religion.

“33. Tell all nation order, bank order, to now do away with this great evil of child slave forced labor, LEST OWN NATION REVEAL OWN SUPPORT OF CHILD VIOLENT WAY . . . ”

Bit of a Freudian slip there.

How is this dickwad a cult leader? He can’t even string two sentences together in his only language. This crap reads like a spambot wrote it. This is like that old SNL skit with Frankenstein, Tonto, and Tarzan.

Trying to read his syntax is making me feel physically ill; which is something I have encountered a few times with psychotic patient’s speech or writing.

  6. Amazing, this cretin has followers. On second thought . . .

  7. Sounds legit.

religion is a mental disorder that requires suspension of logic and a belief in the irrational. religious zealots are a danger to themselves and others in proportion to how zealous they are. jeffs could say anything and his followers who are predisposed to accept irrationality would believe him and even act on those beliefs even as they did so at their own peril.

  11. FYI: Jeffs is not Mormon. FLDS is a breakaway sect, The Mormon Church rightfully says FLDS are not Mormons and in fact has zero tolerance for Mormons today found to be secret polygamists. They are excommunicated, and this is not a judgment call.

FLDS is centered in Hildale UT. They control everything including police and politics. They are heavily armed and seriously unfriendly. A cafe there on the highway called the Merry Wives Cafe (yuck yuck) is openly run by polygamist wives.

But don’t even think about driving into Hildale. A friend did. People yelled at him to get out and when he stopped to look at something, a Hildale police car came up three inches from his bumper. He took the hint and left.
