100 Wal-Mart Workers Arrested In Nationwide Protests Last Week

walmartIncluding three attempting to deliver a petition to a Wal-Mart executive’s Manhattan office. Imagine how awkward that would have been! Buzzfeed reports:

100 Walmart workers protesting low wages and illegal retaliation against strikers were arrested in 11 cities on Thursday. In response to Walmart’s inaction, workers announced widespread, massive strikes and protests will take place on Black Friday in 2013.

The New York Police Department arrested three Walmart strikers who wanted to meet with an executive. The protesters planned to deliver a petition directly to company board member Christopher Williams’ Fifth Avenue office. The petition demands Walmart provide employees with a livable, annual wage of $25,000, and stop punishing workers who stand up for their rights. Walmart fired or disciplined at least 60 strikers who protested in June.

Walmart spokesperson Kory Lundberg said that these demonstrations are “just a show.”

  1. Yes, it’s a show. They’re showing you that they’re fed up with the slave wages you pay them.

I know three women who work at Walmart.
The first has two chronic degenerative ailments that keep her from searching for work elsewhere. When she is not busy canceling doctors appointments, she’s occupied making arrangements with various out of state (and out of country) family members to procure various medications (steroids and chemotherapeutic agents) from Mexican pharmacies. She tells me her insurance deductible is 5000 dollars. “It might as well be a million, cause I can’t afford it”, She then adds. “You know, if I didn’t have to pay a monthly premium on an insurance I can never use, I might be able to see a doctor more than once a year.” “I suppose if I am able to work, my liver and kidneys must still be functioning; I mean, who can pay for all those labs?”

The second woman carefully packs chicken, pork and beef into “Feed America” containers, which she then freezes so they can be picked up by the food bank a bit later. She then moves on to produce and bakery. Packing spotty bananas and day- old donuts with the same amount of care. After work, she picks up her kids, and heads down to the local food pantry, where the items she previously packed, will be waiting for her, and several others.

The third was recently fired. She had accepted two loaves of “only slightly squashed” bread from a vendor. This was at no cost to Walmart. The vendor made her the offer, said he would put them outside her car, as they would only wind up being trashed anyway. This was a MAJOR ethics violation.

Yeah, Walmart knows everything there is to know about “ethics”.

This is just one store, in one tiny town.

Unfortunately what they want is MORE government. That’s NEVER the answer. Always read between the obvious. We are mostly a socialist country now at our own hands. Guess what the NWO is really? World Socialism, in the state we trust. The NWO/Illuminati/Zionist cabal is active on many fronts and this one of them. Have the subjects beg for the World Dictator to make it all right! Guess who Snowden works for? If one of the major goals of the NWO is to end national sovereignty then Snowden must be on their payroll to incite violence and revolution in America. This gives the “lawful” government a reason to step in and call for martial law and it spirals out of control from there. Putin is just a bit player in this theater too, who are the Oligarchs in Russia really?
