Canadian Sasquatch Footage?

Via Cryptomundo comes this footage of something fuzzy shot by YouTube user TimberGiantBigfoot. It’s certainly something, but I’m guessing it might be a bear, if not the usual guy in a monkey suit. Or, you know, the ‘squatch. The guy is wearing official Sasquatch hunting Crocs, so free tip there I guess.

Yeah, but when does it start eating grad students?

Pretty sad. I used to be a timber broker. I can tell that area was logged about four years ago. It’s near the suburbs because you can see open space in the distance. Nobody goes into the deep woods with crocs and a ghey aviator wristwatch. Those were store-bought apples. They do not grow in the wild.

If you want to hear Bigfoots, you need to hike six hours into Louisiana’s Atchafalaya basin, and you sure as hell don’t go in there without a rifle.

    • Or hike up into the Santa Cruz mountains. I was followed out as I was returning to town by something very tall, and large. It clearly wasn’t some errant basketball player. And it made sure it kept the sun to its back so I couldn’t get a good look at it. I sense no malice, but I *could* tell something wasn’t right. I never thought “Bigfoot” at the time. That didn’t occur to me until years later. But it certainly kept quiet. I didn’t even see it or hear it at first. What tipped me off was the overwhelming sense that something was just wrong. Something was off. That’s when I noticed an enormous figure fifty feet away from me, up the incline to my right. It followed me all the way to the edge of the woods, where the clearing began that represented the edge of town.

It was a rather unsettling experience I’d not care to repeat.

    • That has to be one of the most dire places in the world. I am originally from east Texas, and even in that region, there are thicket forests man hasn’t walked through for who knows how long. There are plenty of Native burial mounds and black panthers roaming around though, we’ve seen footprints on creek banks before. Oh, and swamp gas as well, it makes weird lights at night, pretty awesome.

Ya, he lost me when he took off his crocs. That and the obvious editing and the deliberate poor camera work(You really are going to pan the camera around when that’s the only way you can see this thing? I’m pretty sure if he thought it was real, he’d have that camera glued to the squatch instead of missing the part where it stood up and moved away.)

  4. If it’s real…why not have items, left behind, DNA tested?

They really don’t let you film them. They have the ability to seriously fuck with us. Think of how you fucked with your dog as a kid faking the throw, and you will have some idea of our relationship with Sasquatch. They aren’t in awe of us or our technology.

I heard wood knocking on wood in the earlier night this past summer when sleeping in a tent outside my cabin. It was steady and rhythmic and if it would have continued one more, I would have been fully cognizant of it happening, but as it was it remained on the skirts of my consciousness. Might have been.

Yeah, that’s one of the things they do. They deliberately ride that fine line.
