Thanks for posting this. Somehow I’d forgotten all about Greg and his work. I used to enjoy reading his stuff.
I truly appreciate you taking the time to comment. Not everyone does, and it means a lot to me to know that someone is into the kind of information I try to offer. Sometimes I worry that this or that episode isn’t going to get any listeners because of the subject matter. Greg is a really great guy, and I’m glad you found this of value.
You’re welcome.
this is my favorite kind of subject matter! i think there are a lot of us out there looking for legit people talking about these things. keep it up Matt, follow your passions!
Thank you for providing DisinfoCast in multiple listening formats; mp3, youtube, RSS, etc.
There are many podcasts I don’t consume merely because the format is inconvenient with the player I happen to be using at the time (Android phone in car – Linux workstation in office – Apple mp3 player on lawnmower).
I hear ya. I actually just finished listening to the “Risk!” podcast while mowing my lawn.
Great to see Greg getting attention. In fact, his and your podcasts and the work you both do with the websites is a constant inspiration and, to be honest, while I am full time carer for a partner with a broken neck and hip ( which will mend thankfully) keep me sane. Thank you.
Great job on the Disinfocasts, Matt. The balance between casual friendly conversation and journalistic interview is achieved very nicely, and makes for stimulating and entertaining listening. Occult of Personality is an awesome show, and your interview with Greg Kaminsky revealed that he is as interesting and insightful as his guests.
As a longtime Disinfonaut — this site launched when I needed it most, exposing me to vital mutant memes and occasionally inducing mindgasms (like the classic RAW/P-Orridge interview) — I am really pleased with the way it continues to evolve. Though I rarely comment, the sense of community is stronger than ever.
How about a Disinfocast with a “round table” of guests? Some obvious topic ideas include the current state of conspiracy theory culture, the ongoing expansion of interest in the Western Esoteric Tradition, Transhumanist heresies, and the legacy of mutants like Terence McKenna and RAW.
These are great ideas. Than you SO MUCH for commenting!
why no mp3 download?
