I Was a Guest On the ‘Intellectual Gentlemen’s Club’ Podcast

Sometimes I’m lucky enough to be a guest on other people’s podcasts. I’ve done several of them in the past year or so, and I’m always flattered that anyone is interested in hearing what I’ve got to say. I don’t normally mention them here at Disinfo because I want to avoid even the very whiff of personal promotion, but with so many interviews with me starting to pile up out there in the aether I thought it might be time to fill you in on them here and there.

Feel free to completely disregard this post, but if you’re interested in hearing an interview with me then you would do well with this my recent appearance on the “Intellectual Gentlemen’s Club” podcast. Apparently they were willing to let the fact that I’m neither an intellectual nor gentleman slide in this one case…

“The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser men so full of doubts.” Bertrand Russell

Keep it up Matt, great work.

You’re welcome, this episode was a real pleasure. I haven’t always been a kind man but I’ve also in recent years found my own personal enlightenment and let go of so very much of what I’ve allowed to hold me down. It reinforces that in me to hear you gentlemen speak of that in this episode… truly a pleasure.

I should also mention that I am one of those that was unreachable in regards to Graham Hancock. I wedged some heavy criticisms over his work and when I saw how much it upset the conversation, I stepped back and only returned when I felt I could lend more to the dialogue than just staunch criticisms.

  2. Nice interview. Thanks for sharing 🙂

      Thank you for listening.

      • It was a great little conversation. Love the jujutsu part. I was exposed to the art in late hi-school and university but decided to go with wrestling instead. I found them to be very similar in discipline as well as having some of the same techniques… took me back to many moons ago… fun podcast.

  3. I love you matt

YA KNOW? YA KNOW. YA KNOW YA KNOW YA KNOW. Jeez, I never noticed how often I say that. Don’t play a drinking game listening to this interview: YOU WILL DIE OF ALCOHOL POISONING.

    • You don’t have to live in an ivory tower to be in an intellectual, and you are certainly a gentleman.

What i’m getting at is, You are a gentleman and a scholar.
