Do ya think he liked that hairy leg or do you think he was doing something from God? If I were God, I would not embrace the human foot. I would embrace the spirit within.

In theory it shouldn’t be that hard to be the vicar of Christ.
    Just do what he sez…

But lo: the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. Matthew 7:13

So Pope Pancho Peronista said that the love of money was the root of all evil. Damn, a regular Dorothy Day isn’t he?

Where did he come up with that line? Did someone tell it to him, or did he make it up himself? What? Wait… it’s biblical? The pope was actually quoting the bible??? Man, there’s one for the record books. Stop the presses. New headline “Pope Quotes the bible”.

Nothing new here. Same shit rhetoric that every pope has spouted right on down the line. Even John Paul II (no lover of poor people) had his few moments of anti-capitalist bombast. Remember his “there’s a kernel of truth in Marxism” speech… or this line that reeks of socialism (his nemesis) “[the idea of private property]must lead to a more just and equitable distribution of goods…and, if the common good demands it, there is no need to hesitate at expropriation, itself, done in the right way”

    Fucking commie.

So where was “Panchito”, during “la guerra sucia”when the military junta was drugging student dissidents and pitching them out of airplanes and into the Rio de la Plata?

“Fingering” a few fellow Jesuits for the torture squads perhaps? No liberation theologian was he!

Perhaps another quote from Jesus would be more apt coming from him…

“The poor you will always have with you”

Thanks in part, to the diligent efforts of the Catholic church.

Speaking favorably of Marxism is what got MLK killed.

Being a class warrior, has never been beneficial to anyone’s health.

It seems to be working pretty well for all the Rethugs in Congress, in 2013. Because what are they actually FOR? Answer: whatever the Billionaire Class (who bought them) wants: they want EVERYTHING, and they don’t want to pay for it…and they seem to be doing just fine.

Before anyone jumps me for singling out the Rethugs: the Dems suck to high hell too, but at least they have to respond a little to their non-rich constituency. And they don’t hate science.

Except I would never use the word “warrior” to describe the venal monied contingent. “Warrior” implies courage and strength. Things they neither have nor properly understand (they have power, not strength).

Words like devourer or vulture, suit them and describe what they do quite nicely.

I just want to clear up what I mean by “class warrior” so as it’s not to be confused with “class vultures”.

I do quite agree with your points made.

            No war but class war!
