Strange “Shape Shifting” Figure Filmed Above Belfast

It is likely something more pedestrian, but I’d like to believe that this footage shot of an object in the sky above the Northern Ireland capital is evidence of an “inter-dimensional being”, as the original cameraman claims. Watch for legs and shape shifting abilities:

I love the way all UFO footage is taken by people with Parkinson’s Disease.

      Tripods are HARD!

    • echar

Interdemional beings (IBs) are terrified of tripods. The shape reminds them of a class of ferocious warlords. Most truly in the know are aware of this, so they leave the tripods at home when capturing images of UFOs/IBs.

My only regret is that I have but one upvote for this comment. Still, it is yours, sir.

Their decreased blink rate thwarts the pulsed quantum entrainment ocular occlusion cloaking devices.

Doesn’t appear to “shape shift” as much as a single three dimensional shape rotates intermittently. Looks like something dark wrapped around an orb shaped object (balloon?).

    It’s someone with a jetpack.

    • marshall

I concur. In fact, it looks like Snow, aka “Black Ice” on a jetpack. Muthafukin jetpack white devils!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62UjvbkZOuI

looks like some kind of giant flying mecha. Publicity stunt for Pacific Rim?

  • Alison

Meh. One of the new PSNI infrared monitoring drones over some shinbanging skanger estate doing the usual dissident spyhopping. Cheaper than a helicopter sweep, those are expensive.

    • Adam Roscoe

Bang on; almost certainly a drone.. They’re relatively cheap, they come in all shapes and sizes, and being a non-fixed wing, remotely controlled vehicle – the only thing limiting their performance or agility is their size. I’ve seen them over here in Glasgow on multiple occasions – things that look kind of similar and have similar flight characteristics. They can whizz about like an insect, stop on a dime, and go back in the other direction in an instant.

The UK Police have been using them since at least 2007, and these days there are so many makes and models for different types of operations and requirements, that they come in just about any shape or design you can think of.

That’s not to say that ‘UFO’s or ‘paranormal’ type vehicles don’t exist, as there have been too many sightings, reports, and experiences (one of them personal to me) that defy conventional physical explanation.

What these ‘other’ objects actually are though – we just don’t know, and unfortunately that’s the bottom line – but I would guess we’re looking at a whole range of phenomena; from top-secret military vehicles and programs, to strange atmospheric and/or paranormal phenomena, to perhaps even the odd alien spaceship. Nothing is impossible.

But again; we have no proof to back up any of this, whereas we DO know that the military, intelligence, and law enforcement agencies have entire fleets of drones that do not behave like any other airborne vehicle, and which could easily be mistaken for something more ‘otherworldly’, as has probably been the case here.

It’s the Hollywood/Intelligence complex and their professional dis-informants who have given us this template of presumption and expectation with which to view UFO’s. Fiction, drama, mythology and ‘conspiracy culture’ in general have done a fantastic job on people’s minds in this area, as the title of the video suggests.

defo a drone. btw, im in G-town too – where have you seen these objects?

Huffington Post sent this video to Marc Dantonio, the chief photo and
video analyst for the Mutual UFO Network, to get his take on the
supposed “inter-dimensional entity.” His conclusion probably won’t
surprise anyone who had a real “question” about this UFO.
He concluded it’s a mylar balloon. Probably one shaped like a
question mark. That’s pretty obvious when you watch the video. I kind of
wish people would run through a checklist of earthbound things instead
of jumping to a ridiculous conclusion. Inter-dimensional beings? Ugh.
But add this to your list of things that are not UFOs.

Looks like a reflective balloon to me. The “shapeshifting” is it rotating in the air and catching the light in different places, helped by the heavy pixelation caused by the camera.

  • Juan

I really like the shapeshifting, transdeminsional being theory. I’m going with that cuz it’s way more fun than all the other suggestions of what it might be.

    People will believe ANYTHING.
Last summer, I made my own UFO….and fooled about 50 people.

To make a long story short…..I basically took very light wire and bent it into a disk about 10 feet in diameter.

I then used more wire to construct a “dome” shape on the top and bottom. It basically looked like a 3D wire-frame rendering of a UFO.
Next, I wrapped the entire object in very light tin foil.

I needed a light source that wasn’t heavy. So….I bought a bunch of glow-sticks and taped them in an interesting pattern around the rim…trying to make it look as “realistic” as possible.

Lastly, I got about 20 black helium balloons and attached them around the object.
A friend and I waited until it was dark(around 10pm) and drove out to the local mall.
We discretely let the object go…hoping no one would notice. Luckily, no one was around.

The “UFO” took about 3 minutes to reach a height of 500 yards or so. Luckily, the balloons juuuust barely buoyed it in the air…so it didn’t float away too quickly.
We both ran to the front of the mall….our camera phones in hand, and started pointing up to the sky.
Everyone around us was in shock and started filming it themselves…and calling friends.

    It was hilarious…

AND….it actually looked damn realistic! At only 500 yards away, it was impossible to tell the real distance. For all anyone knew it was an object 500 feet across…one mile in the sky. It might as well have been…it looked like it.
And…it barely moved. There was no wind that night.
Over the course of 30 minutes, it slowllly ascended until the lights faded out of view.
What was funny was….when the lights faded from view…several people shouted out, “It just flew off! It just zoomed away in the blink of an eye. I saw it!”
They literally thought they had seen it zip off in an instant. Didn’t expect that! Just goes to show how bad eyewitness testimony is.

It was SO worth it. The reaction of people was amazing. Some people were practically crying. I felt kind of bad to get people’s hopes raised….but it sure took a lot of work, and it looked amazing.

Besides, life is tough. I figured this would be a nice dose of the surreal and psychedelic in people’s otherwise mundane drab lives. People seemed genuinely elated to witness something so rare.

It still amazes me how seamlessly it all worked out. It looked far more real than expected. You couldn’t see the balloons at all. I almost felt let down that it wasn’t real…

    • Juan

      Good times:) Love it.

  • Kitty Davenport

looks like a large mylar balloon of some kind to me. Perhaps an escape from a kids party.

  • Charlie Primero

That video is a balloon. Trans-dimensional entities can only visit when the correct conditions have been created with rhythmic vocalizations, dancing, and extreme focus of attention by a dedicated group of people.

I have an email alert for the search terms “Maitreya Imam Mahdi” that catches them on YouTube because the videos usually get taken down very fast.

Here is one. Usually they dance with swords, but this one does not….
