TSA Union Wants Armed Guards

The union representing airport screeners for the Transportation Security Administration says Friday’s fatal shooting of an agent at Los Angeles International Airport highlights the need for armed security officers at every airport checkpoint.

“Every local airport has its own security arrangement with local police to some type of contract security force,” said J. If this goes down I will never, I repeat, NEVER travel to or from the United States by air. I wouldn’t trust a TSA agent with nail clippers, let alone a firearm.

I think we need less security. Less B.S. taking off your shoes and getting groped and standing in cattle lines. Less prostrating yourselves on the floor while the Emperor’s dogs put their feet upon your necks. I know its getting to be a tired old cliche, but I’m really feeling the whole “trading security for freedom and not having either” thing right now. Maybe it was seeing that Frazetta painting in another post, but my barbarian heart yearns to ride across the plains and see no one from horizon to horizon trying to tell me I need to put my shoes and laptop in the tray.

TSA pigs are one step up from WalMart employees
but no one would shop at WalMart if those morons had guns

  5. TSA agents want to be armed? Fine. Send them to an eight week boot camp, so that I can trust the pudgy gropers to be as minimally competent and disciplined with their guns as the average Army Private.

Oh, good, now my rights can be violated at gunpoint. Fun.

Jesus Christ, trained policemen are gunning down unarmed civilians every year. I can’t imagine the TSA being any less willing to shoot a stranger, especially if that stranger is of a particular ethnicity.
