Airline Flights In Germany Cancelled After UFO Sighting

ufo_skyVia TIME:

While flights across the US have been cancelled due to the deep freeze of the polar vortex, flights in Bremen, Germany were cancelled for an entirely different reason: a UFO.

On Monday night, an unidentified flying object showed up on Bremen Airport’s radar several times over three hours, causing one flight to be cancelled, one diverted and other delayed as police and airport officials investigated the UFO activity.

Bremen police were alerted to potential UFO activity when a patrol car apparently saw the object around 6:30 p.m. Witnesses report that “It looked like a plane. It had lights but was a lot louder.”

A police helicopter was sent off in pursuit, but was unable to track down the UFO. A Bremen police spokesman said, “We still don’t know what it was, but it was there.”

It’s sad when the reward for the correct answer is your own liquidation. But life is funny like that some times.

Hmmm, really odd because your typical UFO makes very little noise.

To me, any time a UFO is actually sighted, it is most likely a contrivance.

An example is an anecdote my friend told me when he was stargazing with friends. He saw a light darting around and watched it for a bit, when he pointed it out to his friends, it disappeared.

This air traffic disturbance could just be arrogant showboating, but I think there are probably treaties against that. Maybe its not-so-subtle indoctrinating.

I think the article is classic UFO disinfo. “Witnesses” said it looked like a plane? One witness might have said that. The only details they are repeating are details that are not very UFO-ey. I’m sure the air-traffic controllers were not enjoying their day, and wouldn’t have been delaying flights unless it was legit. The article is also snarky, an obvious ridicule piece.

people hear UFO they think aliens. UFO can be anything unidentified. “flight takeoffs cancelled in bremen”, on the average airport there can be a plane taking off every 30 seconds, if they even stopped flights for 5 minutes 10 takeoffs could be “cancelled”, obviously the flights were probably not “cancelled” but temporarily postponed. may have been a bird migration passing over the runways, debris caught in a current, a guy in a helicopter flying near the runways with no clearance, a hot air balloon passing near the airport, a loose advertising blimp passing the airport, chinese lanterns from a party passing by,somebody in a motorised hang glider passing too close. the way UFO is used by media sources is always to stir up hype by cleverly wording articles to seem mysterious and put the idea in peoples heads thats its something other worldly. probably not though eh guys.
