‘Set Yourself Free’

Very powerful PSA. OK, not really a PSA. It’s a parody. I hope.

Of course, we could live in a war zone, where there aren’t signs warning us about the drone attacks.

I’m not immune to the humorous aspect of all this. But really, there is a kind of Poetic Justice embedded in these images.

There’s nothing wrong with the American Idyll of Youth, in and of itself. Yet it has to be admitted that it’s come at the expense of a callous attitude to suffering in the rest of the world.

These nightmares have been percolating in the troubled recesses of America’s conscience for generations.

BTW: These people got off a little too easy. It’d be far more horrific if they had to endure another 60 years of so as despised quadropalegics unable to control their own bowels.

Come to think of it, that’s an odd turn of phrase. A little redundant, if you know what I mean.

It’d take some kind of sick mastermind to control somebody ELSE’s bowels.
