Third Prominent Banker In Six Days Found Dead Of Apparent Suicide

fed_banker In what seems like a bizarre coincidence, top officials from JPMorgan Chase, Deutsche Bank, and the Federal Reserve seemingly took their own lives last week, HousingWire notes:

Bloomberg is reporting this morning that former Federal Reserve economist Mike Dueker was found dead in an apparent suicide near Tacoma, Washington. Dueker, 50, a chief economist at Russell Investments, had been missing since Jan. 29 and was reportedly having troubles at work.

Normally HousingWire wouldn’t cover deaths in the industry, but what’s strange is that Dueker is the third prominent banker found dead since Sunday.

On Sunday, William Broeksmit, 58, former senior manager for Deutsche Bank, was found hanging in his home, also an apparent suicide. On Tuesday, Gabriel Magee, 39, vice president at JPMorgan Chase & Co’s London headquarters, apparently jumped to his death from a building in the Canary Wharf area.

10,600 people died Jan-Nov 2011 many more since due to negligent work capability assessments by Atos Conservatives+Atos=Genocide

    • Craig Bickford | Feb 3, 2014 at 3:15 pm |

I am out of the loop, what is Atos?

      • anitagaribaldi | Feb 3, 2014 at 4:06 pm |

They carry out medical examinations/assessments on the sick and disabled for the governament to find out whether they are entitled to benefits…I say that again IT IS GENOCIDE!!! About 100 Sick and disabled people have died each week since Jan 2011. Atos and the government are refusing to hand out the evidence to the public. Can you blame them…there would be a revolution before the next morning….

        • anitagaribaldi | Feb 3, 2014 at 4:17 pm |

Sorry I forgot to mention that these people are declared fit for work and they all die within six months of their benefit being stopped, many of them commit suicide…

where they the right people for the job or the wrong people for the job?
no, not the banking job … that’s not a job … because it’s not work

    the suicide.

    • The “suicide” job.

hmm it wouldn’t be a documentary, but i’m not sure what genre name would stick. indy could have a lot of fun with it if the crew let go. but yeah, i don’t think bad criminal guys are the type to end their selves, no way. so to be obvious, either these guys knew something and had to end their conscience or it wasn’t suicides (blah blah).

forgot what else i was going to say. too much crimes. law, lol. becomes that inevitable chase “well if it’s not law don’t call it law” which leads to “keep going” (apophaticly, sometimes) aaaaand yeah, system system blah blah no answers yadda ya

6 more just like them have already taken their place in the banks
it’s the money thechnology that creates these people
it’s the money thechnology that drives them to their suicide
the closer you get to money
    the crazier you get

    • You make my day, every day.

    • Any chance Hitlary Clitons technology ride at White Water will ‘inspire’ the murdering sl*t. That global banking crash, has probably been to long ago. Perhaps her murder of Navy Seals in Obamas Home Land will motivate it….

Gun Control… Now Mam, Squeeze don’t pull, Firm pressure against right temple. It takes an absolutely EVIL government , jobless Americans-not guilty

“Filleann feall ar an bhfeallaire”, as they say.

They work for companies systematically screwing everybody else over on a scale unprecedented in history and now we’re supposed to shed a tear for these *ssholes? Not f*cking likely.

    • American Cannibal | Feb 3, 2014 at 3:01 pm |

We had a suicide near Park Slope this morning – 50 year old hung from tree in Prospect Park. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was a Wall Streeter who couldn’t face today’s market bloodbath. No ID yet.

    • Liam It will cost me nothing if I don’t cry over these thieves. Not that kleenex are that pricy as yet. It’s the principal nature of it all. They sold America to the lowest bidders

  5. American Cannibal | Feb 3, 2014 at 2:44 pm |

This is a predictor of the market crash. Hang tight! Wait for the bottom before you BUY BUY BUY!

    • Liam_McGonagle | Feb 3, 2014 at 3:02 pm |

You’ve been noticing the Dow movement these past couple of weeks, too? That made me wonder.

But my first guess is that they’re only weakly, and indirectly related. Maybe just a product of the inhumane culture of the banks.

If there were some more direct shared cause I’d guess it’d be an investigation into interest rate rigging. But I doubt that’d bother them terribly. Normally they don’t kill themselves until the sentence is announced–certainly not before they’re charged.

      • American Cannibal | Feb 3, 2014 at 3:04 pm |

I’m thinking some of these suicides are related to unwinding leveraged accounts and margin calls. Lots of people getting squeezed right now. You know, those Billion-plus loses that really mess with their heads. The computers show them the wave is coming before we ever see it out here.

        • Liam_McGonagle | Feb 3, 2014 at 3:10 pm |

That was my first thought–but these guys weren’t traders or portfolio managers. Could still be true as you say, but I should think there would be other guys in line before an interest rate guy, a regulatory supervisor and an IT drone. (That IT guy’s vice presidential title notwithstanding, and unless you’re like an algorithm guy or something, they probably put the IT department in the basement next to the copy machine. Plus there’s like a million vice presidents over there. Seriously. They do it so they’re legally authorized to pay for order in pizzas on the company’s account).

          • American Cannibal | Feb 3, 2014 at 3:14 pm |

Yeah, sure. All of the above. But the title alone doesn’t make them immune from bad gambling bets, if that is what ultimately triggered the suicide. Still, with this many offing themselves, there is something here and we should take notice, if only to profit from the information. Just like the Big Boys!

      • LIAM Go on line , “TNT BLAST from Tony”. tomorrow 2-7-14 at 1:00 pm and every week day. You will learn much about the GCR. (Global Currency Revaluation) Part of which is the RV of every countries currency. 185 countries, over 200 currencies. We at TNT are particularly interested in the Dinar, and Dong. The rest is why bankers and traders are killing themselves. The ultra secret ReValuation of currencies gave them what they thought was a money making (beyond Legal ) opportunity. This will break Globally on the mainstream news in the next few days, if not starting tomorrow. The suicides have been there. The resignations, in the news. Holly shit, Iraq trading globally through there first stock exchange in 2000 years. Ladies and Gentlemen, You are about to wittness the Biggest Change in humanity in our time on the planet. NO BULL CRAP, it IS on-going. Good Luck Ya’ll

    • Is that you General ? There are thousands of Indians waiting to buy low too. The ongoing GCR (Global currency revaluation), “very secretively”, is playing a BIG part in the stock markets “Hangings”,and “jumps” You Sir are correct, “Buy LOW”.

  6. Good. More of these pricks need to fucking die; the more the merrier, I say:)
This is also potentially good news, because this could mean somebody very powerful is running scared and trying to “tie up any potential loose ends” before shit hits the fan.
I read this as more archon on archon violence.
    Interesting times, my peoples.

    • There is the Swiss bank deal.

I must admit, I am at a crossroads on this one. I dislike suicide and violence, however the large banks clearly cause much suffering. Most likely these people’s deaths have created a promotion for someone else who may be just as greedy, if not more.

      • sonicbphuct | Feb 6, 2014 at 6:16 am |

        the devil you know?

personally, I advocate suicide often. Viva Suicide! Sadly, those that should don’t and those that shouldn’t do.

      • echar: Correct sir. Add to that; Foreign Exchange, US Treasury, the IMF, US Congress and many, many others. The Lawsky probe counts 12 in and of itself. 67 US congressmen are not running for re-election. 40 to leave office before end of term. Suicide and war and murder…. are all terrible. I’m a ‘Gods Love’ kind of person. Pat Robertson recently said in an interview, “There are times when we must Kill Evil”. I consider that “Gods Love” too. I hope they all think twice before they jump. The Clinton witch should be tried for the cold blooded murder of Americans (Navy Seals and US dignitaries) in Obama’s home land . Capital Murder. You Know the punishment, “Gods Love”. Refresh my memory, didn’t her husband rape and murder many ??? The past doesn’t have anything on the present as far as today’s vast Evil goes. I saw a guestimate that 3.5 billion people may die it our governments (the worlds governments) coming global war. OPTION 2 ; Everyone get a little more honest with, and caring of, all. THERE IS AT PRESENT a Global Currency Revaluation (GCR)…, on-going, as we breath. This is to level the monies so we can ALL live and eat and hopefully give up war. There is the last hope. I wish you good and concerned people well. I know you care (and thats Gods Love) or you wouldn’t be in here caring… PEACE OUT !

  7. notalent | Feb 3, 2014 at 3:58 pm |

The earth just got a little lighter today, I guess…Nah, suicide isn’t a good choice. We could have learned something from their stories……………I wish these people could’ve found help.

The bio that bloomberg offers paints Dueker as an academic. And his chosen method was to hop over a four foot fence and roll down a 50ft embankment?

Then there’s a retired banker choosing to hang himself on a Sunday morning and a young guy who’s bosses allow him to cut back to a four day week, planning on having kids, so he decides to jump off the roof of his office building at quarter past eight in the morning.

I don’t think these sound like your typical career driven workaholic banker turning to suicide over a dodgy investment.

    • American Cannibal | Feb 3, 2014 at 5:37 pm |

You should write thrillers in Hollywood.

    • Nope, it sure doesn’t
I can’t rememner who said it but, any half way competent operative can arrange a convincing “suicide.” But it takes a real artist to arrange a convincing death from “natural causes.”
Not saying these were murders made to look like suicides, but it certainly looks that way.
Reminds me of the two FBI agents involved in the Boston Marathon bombing investigation falling to their deaths from a helicopter. Those look more like murders made to look like accidents.

    • Wouldn’t it be great if there was, a shadowy group of ass kicking radicalized former wage slaves; fed up with the criminal banking system that cost them their homes and well-being are now out to destroy the very people who once callously threw them to the economic wolves?

I suggest reading the above in your best movie trailer guy voice.
Anybody wanna help with the screenplay? Or maybe we could start a “club”.

    • The 500 ft jump at JP Morgan wins for over all effect. The result of manipulation of the IMF and Foreign Exchange rates… Many more to come. The US Treasury will soon be invalidated by the approved actions of the many criminals in both offices, (congress and senate). The Money Whores will soon be behind bars or in duh dirt.

  9. puppybone69 | Feb 3, 2014 at 10:37 pm |

Well let’s just hope that it’s all because of some vigilante hunting them down and killing them all off one by one, and just making all their deaths look like suicides so he can take out even more!

Sometimes the burden of knowing things about powerful, murderous cabals can weigh so heavily on a man’s soul that it drives him to shoot himself in the head three times, then wrap his own body in a carpet and dump himself in a canal.

  11. sonicbphuct | Feb 6, 2014 at 6:16 am |

since no one else will say it:

What do you call 6 dead powerful bankers?

    A good start.

  12. Part of me is willing to believe that these guys were on somebody’s hit list… but my practical (cynical) side says they probably saw something big and ugly coming down the pipe, and couldn’t handle waiting for it to show up! Regardless of what the truth is, 2014 promises to be an interesting year for sure.

  13. Boring conversation anyway | Feb 16, 2014 at 2:15 pm |

Yeah, but what if they knew something we don’t about the future….

Another article says four and the comments below it say there’s also been a fifth. They say rats leave a sinking ship, perhaps it’s true after all?
