  1. Humans are tribal, get over it. How did Abby choose a place to live, vacation, shop or attend school? If a certain group is causing disproportionate trouble then is it any wonder that other groups flee to other schools?

    • “Get over it” is a cop out.

      • How did you choose a residence in a large city? Don’t answer if you live in rural Vermont.

yeah intermarriage, interraciality, immigration, emmigration, post-colonialism doesn’t exist. we all live in a pre-roman vacuum.

don’t you know, if a certain group is causing disproportionate problems, then you’re racist! They shouldn’t be addressed as a field of degenerates! Yes I wrestled my black roommate yesterday because he wouldn’t pay me $9 for 1/3rd of the toilet paper and dish detergent that I bought which he has been using since January. Not so easy to say I’m racist when motherfuckers are being niggardly, I am a primary source. ‘Just admit you don’t have the money and it will be a different issue, you proud fuck.’

Compare disciplinary actions in response to similar infractions, mere percentages can be deceptive

People naturally self-segregate. People generally like being around people like themselves.

if that were true, people like me wouldn’t exist.

It is only a tendency, stronger in some people (groups?) than others, to what degree it is cultural or endemic is up to question. And the willingness to associate with one’s “likenesses” doesn’t always follow racial lines. I am generally a really good example of the exception, as God would will it.

coming from mixed race parents (plural), and having an extensive background in multi-racial and diaspora studies, i can assure you that every culture bar those isolated by external contact, are syncretic and formed of a composite culture. there is no ‘predisposition’ that at the very least sex and availability cannot cure. no amount of cultural stigma precludes the historical incidence of. the relationship may not last, but the kids grow up;).
