    Of course it’s not a democracy, it was never intended to be, it is a constitutional republic.

      Maybe on paper its a republic. When you have a corrupted supreme court that can interpret the constitution to benefit certain people then it is no longer a republic.

    Fuck the state and federal levels – people forget how much power they have at the local levels, especially depending upon a city or town’s Charter status. but again, shit will be screwed if less than 30 percent of the people who are eligible to vote in local elections are the only ones who bother to show up.
