Why the Media is More Racist than Cliven Bundy | Weapons of Mass Distraction

Abby Martin calls out the corporate media’s incessant coverage of the Cliven Bundy Ranch story, whilst ignoring other important newsworthy issues such as record drone strikes in Yemen, the kidnapping of 230 Nigerian girls and the end of ‘net neutrality’.

They use more than just race related stuff to divide and conquer the population. Keep the slaves fighting amongst each other and they will never group together and rise against the powers that be.

At least she admits he is ignorant.

The whole Cliven Bundy situation made me think. I don’t think its that stupid to cover him. It caused me to clarify some things. First of all, It made me realize I am not quite as much of a Libertarian as I thought.

I think Militias with guns running shit, sounds like a nightmare scenario. I mean sure the BLM is fucked up, but mostly because it caters to loggers and large scale minors. I don’t think they are fucked up because they don’t allow grazing for free.

Deciding who gets to use what land for what reason based on how many guns they have=equals complete break down of society and the rule of law. So fuck this guy.

The Bundy thing is just media propaganda to keep the sheep arguing and debating dumb shit like it.

Plus the fact that the voting system is a joke and controlled in this country voting for any mainstream party including libertarian (which is just a offset of republic party) is a futile attempt at thinking you are changing anything or that your vote counts. Voting has failed and its to late for that. It is time to stop focusing on petty bullshit like Bundy and we need the population unite and rise up against the real problems which is the fact our government is controlled at the highest levels and has no regards for human life or whats best for humanity or the country.

Also You contradicted yourself at the end because the government gets to choose who uses what land for what reason and many other things they do based soley off how many guns they have.

“First of all, It made me realize I am not quite as much of a Libertarian as I thought.”

I think, if the gov’t is going to use it’s guns for anything, it should be to make people define terms when they are using them – liberal, conservative, libertarian…these are some of those terms I speak of.

Yes I agree. The wide spread political misuse of these words has made people think they mean something that they do not.

I had someone call me a liberal the other day and laughed because all the word means is open to accepting new behavior or opinions in replace of traditional ones. Im like uhhh ok? Is that supposed to be a bad thing that im willing to want to change?
