#MYNYPD – The Most Disastrous Twitter Campaign Ever?

molly mynypdNew York’s Finest decided to use social media to buff up their new Bill de Blasio-mandated community-friendly image with a Twitter campaign.

The NYPD asked New Yorkers to tweet images of themselves with NYPD officers, but what they got was not exactly what they expected.

  1. I just love this.
    What were these dumbfucks thinking?
My hope is that eventually there will be so much dissonance between mainstream propaganda (“news”) and the reality of people’s daily lives, that even the densest most clueless mainstream schlub will begin to realize that something is amiss.

      What have you been smoking?

    • That will no doubt occur simultaneously at the moment when shame overwhelms LE and they defy their masters.

the pig bosses buy into their own shit
it never even occurred to them
that no one digs the pigs

      • Apparently many people do “dig the pigs.” The vast majority of people really view them heroes. I know this because I get to sit and watch jury section. The answers many people give indicate they love and worship the police. Of course, these are mostly middle class white folks . . .
And as you well know, they are lauded as heroes as well in all the mainstream propaganda. Same goes for the fucking military.

        • Its indoctrination and social engineering . Sad but true.

          true that
          if you’re white
          it’s unlikely you encounter cops
          as regularly as minorities
this is a part of the mistique of pigs
little contact with them while imbibing lots of postive propaganda about pigs
kop kulture is a mainstay of tv entertrainment

  2. This is a good example of why it should be illegal to take photos of the popo.

    • They try to not allow it. They smash personal security cameras in houses when doing illegal activities and definitely will delete or confiscate phones or cameras if recording it. I have witnessed it.

  3. Some of your responses to my original post got me thinking . . . how do you deprogram an entire society?
Better yet, how would you go about deprogramming the US?
This exposing the pigs on social media seems like a great start to me.

Get them to get out of their comfort zones. Beyond that, an evil genius approach a la Batman Returns (Scarecrows nightmare gas) or the Illuminatus Trilogy (AUM).

Meme bombs aren’t all that effective, but fun to make (Jesus died for petroleum oil). A more free will approach could be experiential learning courses geared around global consciousness. Preferably in public school, but then that would mean that the game isn’t rigged.

    • First you have to break the indoctrination and then you have to teach them to be critical thinkers which the american education system teaches the exact opposite so this will be a difficult task.

      A small comet.

  4. One thing is for sure, there is a lot of seething resentment against the NYPD and cops in general, but what’s probably even more disturbing is the police department’s antipathy and nonchalance in addressing it, let alone even admitting such hostility exists as seen by the many pictures flooding media….

If cops aren’t willing to have a dialogue why even bother pretending?
