Close Encounters of the Fatal Kind

CloseEncountersImmersing oneself in the world of the unidentified flying object can be exciting, illuminating, stimulating, and enlightening. That very same world, however, is filled to the brim with cold-hearted killers that will not think twice about taking you out of circulation, if such action is deemed absolutely necessary. And not all of those cold-hearted killers are human.

There are cases after cases of missing aircraft, vanished and dead pilots, suspiciously-timed heart-attacks, murders made to look like suicides, the use of mind-control techniques to provoke quick deaths, the many links between the UFO phenomenon and the November 22, 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the termination of numerous scientists with secret UFO links, journalists hung out to dry (as in forever), the terrifying human equivalents of so-called cattle-mutilations, and fatal illnesses provoked by close proximity to unidentified aerial craft.

In the very year that the UFO phenomenon entered popular culture, 1947, there was a grimly impressive catalog of deaths.

Eating Organic Food For One Week Eliminates 90% of Pesticides in Adults

Capay heirloom tomatoes at Slow Food NationThe organic food lobby should be all over this study. Who wants pesticides in their bodies after all? From MedicalXpress/The Conversation:

Eating an organic diet for a week can cause pesticide levels to drop by almost 90% in adults, research from RMIT University has found.

The study, led by Dr Liza Oates found particpants’ urinary dialkylphosphates (DAPs) measurements were 89% lower when they ate an organic diet for seven days compared to a conventional diet for the same amount of time. DAPs make up 70% to 80% of organophosphate pesticides.

Dr Oates said having the same people experience a large drop in organophosphate pesticide levels when consuming organic foods as opposed to conventional foods suggested most of these pesticides come from food consumption. However, she recognised it could come from other sources.

“The people in the organic phase (of the study) still did have some exposure, so there are obviously some alternate routes of exposure,” she said.

Jack Kirby and Comic Book Mysticism

Jack KirbyYou may not recognize the name Jack Kirby, but if you’ve ever argued with your friends over who gets to be Cyclops when you were playing X-Men in your backyard, then you’ve been touched by his creations.

Jack “King” Kirby was a comic book artist/writer/creator between the 30s and the 70s, whose work is arguably the most influential in the medium.  He created and co-created some of the most recognizable superheroes: Captain America, Thor, the Silver Surfer, the Hulk, the X-men, the Fantastic Four, the New Gods, and on and on.

His era of the comic industry is marred by poor pay-rates and draconian business models, where more often than not, artists were handing over their creations for pennies, and were happy just to get their name in the credits.  To make any money at it, Kirby would sit at his drawing board for twelve to fourteen hours a day, pushing out four or five comics a month.  And we’re not talking about hack junkers.  His books were vital, exciting, and changed the face of comic books.… Read the rest

American Family Association Terrified By USPS Harvey Milk Stamp

In a statement released last week (“A drag queen was behind USPS Harvey Milk stamp“) the American Family Association instructed its membership to refuse delivery of mail stamped with the new commemorative Harvey Milk stamp (I had no idea that there even was one. Thanks, AFA!), and if given them at the post office to ask for a United States flag stamp instead.

Choosing a stamp is your choice, and you can of course use it for anything, like sending a certified letter . You know: the kind that requires a signature. For only a couple of dollars more, you can receive an email that the letter was received and a copy of the individual’s signature – all for less than $6. (If you need to use that form, start over again with your own zip code.)

If you want to send a letter to the American Family Association expressing your feelings regarding this and other actions taken on behalf of you and your family, you may do so at the following address.… Read the rest

Best Way To Colonize Planets? Send Our DNA And Print New Humans When It Gets There

PIC: Webridge (CC)

Sounds far fetched, but we’ve been delivering DNA and “printing” new humans on this planet for a long while. Oh, and to our new future alien friends: I’d return to sender if I were you. This particular batch of Sea Monkeys can get out of hand pretty quickly

Assuming human deep space travel turns out to be not just incredibly dangerous, but perhaps “crazy idiotic” and “laughable,” as Harvard biologist Gary Ruvkun put it, the tenacious dream of an interstellar civilization forces some out-of-the box thinking. What if, instead of rocketing humans to other planets, we made an exact copy on site?

Adam Steltzner, the lead engineer on the NASA JPL’s Curiosity rover mission, believes that to send humans to distant planets, we may need to do one of two things: look for ways to game space-time—traveling through wormholes and whatnot—or rethink the fundamental idea of “ourselves.”

“Our best bet for space exploration could be printing humans, organically, on another planet,” said Steltzner on stage at Smithsonian Magazine’s Future Is Now conference in Washington, DC this month.

Bilderberg Member Talks to Protesters about War with Russia?

In this video Luke Rudkowski documents Diederik Samsom a member of the Bilderberg group and Dutch politician who came out of the meeting to talk to protesters. We were only able to get a little bit of the conversation but according to video that will soon come out Diederik openly talked about how Bilderberg was discussing Putin’s behavior, what should be done in Ukraine and if they should raise defense budgets. If you put the 3 topics together you understand that U.S and EU private and public powerhouses are deciding on war with Russia. This important decision being done in a private meeting with bankers, oil oligarchs, and private bushiness is very troubling. We stayed at the Bilderberg hotel the entire day because he said he would come out again, but sadly he did not.

The video of Diederik talking about Russia will be linked in the description on youtube as soon as it’s up from the other news organization.… Read the rest
