The Propaganda Games: Citizen Gamification

It seems China is employing an electronic  system to quantify how patriotic (i.e. obedient) its citizens are to the state.  It takes the form of a game, and is based on real world data.   It measures the patriotic merit of what you purchase online and post on social-media, and has concrete benefits to people with a high score and consequences for people with a low score.  It is currently only opt in, but will be mandatory by 2020.  (ugh)
