What is the nature of suffering? Many people consider suffering in life to be the default state, where their entire life is a series of painful events in a never ending cycle of misery. Could the things in life that cause us to suffer be trying to teach us something? Could it be that suffering is actually a choice?
Seth and Heather talk about the types of suffering we endure as individuals and as cultures, and address various ways we can look at this deeply emotional state to better our own lives and the lives of others. They discuss choices we can make that may break the cycle of endless suffering to teach us deeper truths about ourselves that can lead to stronger growth both individually and as a species.
