Disinfonauts! If you’re broke and can’t afford my book, Born Again To Rebirth, or just don’t like reading books, this excellent interview with myself and Maja D’Aoust (The White Witch of Los Angeles) will give you a good idea of where I’ve come from and how I’ve come to embrace Magick in this world. Love it or hate it, it’s my story.

CNN reporter and writer for many major publications, Fareed Zakaria recently spoke about Ed Snowden in TIME stating that Snowden is “No hero”. He says, “But while Snowden is no hero, his revelations have focused attention on a brave new world of total information.”
In the article and on video, Zakaria states:

“One who breaks an unjust law must do so openly, lovingly and with a willingness to accept the penalty.” That was Martin Luther King Jr.’s definition of civil disobedience. It does not appear to be Edward Snowden’s. He has tried by every method possible to escape any judgment or punishment for his actions.
Snowden has been compared to Daniel Ellsberg, the man who leaked the Pentagon Papers to the New York Times. But Ellsberg did not hop on a plane to Hong Kong or Moscow once he had unloaded his cache of documents. He stood trial and faced the possibility of more than 100 years in prison before the court dismissed the case against him because of the prosecution’s mistakes and abuses of justice.
It takes very little today to get many of us into froth over global injustice, the rape of the earth, the bombing of children, the mistreatment of captives; the list goes on and on. It is as if we are in some kind of violent squeeze, penance for past sins, or just wicked men behaving wickedly. Regardless of whom or what is behind the endless cavalcade of charred carcasses, those of us who look on in horror feel a sense of grief; inability to change as if we were in the middle of a living, breathing night terror from which we cannot awake. But how do we fight this beast of a million heads that mines our hearts for the last drop of fear and anxiety it can draw until we collapse, punctured and poisoned by its necrotizing fangs?
If ever there was a growing sense that we are still under the rule of a malevolent empire, that time is now.… Read the rest
In the meantime, I mused about how we look at dolls in general. Little girls want idealized babies to nurture and care for with perfect features and a life-like feel.
There are many metaphors for what life really is, but foremost in the big smarty pants community is the idea that life is a computer simulation. There happens to be a good amount of information that leads us to believe this is possible and the Edge Bros. are making a film about it to make the idea easier for the Average Joe to swallow. I found their indiegogo presentation to be amusing and informative. Check it out for yourself and consider throwing a couple ‘coins’ their way. Check out their crowd funding page here.

Did you know that you are presently ‘holding’ a schedule 1 psychedelic drug in your brain right now? Unfortunately as soon as that shit is anywhere other than in your brain, it’s as illegal as Heroin, or Crack.
You may be wondering what it is. Well, psychnautical guru and all around interesting guy, Terence McKenna said DMT was the most shocking thing a human can consume this side of the yawning grave. Coming from a guy who was to psychedelics what Lil’ Wayne is to ‘Sizzurp’, this is quite an astonishing claim.
Due to its difficulty to get a hold of, some have gone through the work of figuring out how to get this mystical substance in their expanding little minds. A friend of mine was one of those people. He, like many others had been hearing wonderful and sometimes terrifying stories of DMT’s transformational power. He had read books like The Cosmic Serpent, Supernatural and DMT: The Spirit Molecule and watched all kinds of youtube stuff.
Imagine going for a walk in the park with your family, your child runs up to the water fountain and presses the button for some a bit of refreshment. Nothing comes out. At first she’s confused, but sees the coin slot/card swipe that will sell you 15 second of flowing water for just 50 cents. You as a loving dad, pull out your card and swipe it so she can have a drink. Think this image is impossible? Do you imagine this to be something only a mad man would think of, to deprive humans of the right to water? Unfortunately there are interests buying up rights to all clean water sources. People like oil baron, T. Boone Pickens and Nestle chairman, Peter Brabeck see water as a commodity like any other, not a right. The Nestle chairman explains his stance in light of his goal to treat water as a foodstuff and the outrage his views have caused:

“The fact is they [activists] are talking first of all only about the smallest part of the water usage,” he says.
Disinfonauts! I offer up to you my latest short addressing the one of the most grating words in common use. From bottom of the barrel arguments about religion and politics, to discussions about war and drug use, it’s a catch-all term just about anybody can use to bolster their argument! Sheeple!!!
If we were to have a sane and adult conversation about drug use and abuse in America instead of waging a war on drugs the same way we wage a war on terror, we might come to the realization that we’re letting the bad ones in our homes freely while some of the most helpful to improving the quality of life of the average person carry some of the highest minimum prison sentences of all, while touting an infinitesimal number of related deaths. Some of you may have read Thad McKracken’s well thought out article on the state of drugs in society today. The numbers fall in lockstep with his thoughts.
It turns out that, aside from Alcohol, Big Pharma is the #1 killer while drugs that have been used traditionally as entheogens hardly appear in the statistics at all. Drugs like LSD, DMT, Marajuana, Peyote and other psychedelics are used as a religious sacrament in many belief systems around the world, but are vilified because of their tendency to provide people with what Terence McKenna simply called ‘funny ideas’.… Read the rest
