My Season with Jesse- An Examination of Conspiracy and Commerce

As humans living in the modern technological world, we are awash in information.  It would seem impossible to consciously be aware of all the information we are absorbing in a given hour, much less a week, month, or year.  However, our brains absorb it all, sifting through the blitz of stimuli within an instant, creating a waking, continuous perception of reality.  The depth of how this information affects us, therefore, remains even further buried in the non-conscious mind.  So, on the conscious level, most of us try to select sources of information that we find to be the most reliable.

So, where do you get your information?   I suppose most of us have put some measure of thought into this.  We think about what websites we visit, what television shows we watch, what books we read (if we still read them)and what politicians we trust more than others to tell us the truth that only they might know.… Read the rest

Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura- Season Three, Episode #7 (Season Finale): Brain Invaders

In the Season Finale of Season Three of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, Jesse and the crew investigate “a sinister plot that’s spreading across the country, and will soon target you”- the “Brain Invaders” Conspiracy.

Whether fueled by paranoia or fact (or both), government-run mind control is one of the most popular topics in conspiracy theory culture today.  Alex Jones, David Icke, and many other conspiracy theory figures often talk about the severe mind control techniques already in place, being run by the government, and advancing in efficacy as quickly as the technology that makes them possible.  The backbone of many a conspiracy argument is that we don’t live in reality anymore, we live in a “matrix,” a fabricated reality, and that in order to truly understand the world you need to understand the methods by which your perception of it is shaped.   The mainstream media and its technological tools (internet/social media, TV, movies, etc.), themselves, are often accused of being at the heart of an effort by government and industry to manipulate and control the minds of their citizens/workers/consumers.… Read the rest

Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura- Season Three, Episode #6: The Manimal Conspiracy

In Episode #6 of Season Three of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, Jesse and his investigative team tackle what the narrator calls “the wildest conspiracy yet:  a plot to create bizarre creatures that will take over the world- one part animal, and one part person…. a new breed that can rise up and kill us all… the plot that could end the human race.”  This week Jesse’s “unleashed” on the “Manimal Conspiracy.”

Conspiracies regarding the genetic modification of different animal species, and possible inter-breeding of animals with humans, have circulated throughout the mainstream media and conspiracy underground for years.  Many of these theories have been inspired by works of science fiction, from sources such as H.G. Wells’ The Island of Dr. Moreau, which tells the story of an inspired, but mad, scientist who creates sentient beings from animals via vivisection, and the Planet of the Apes movie franchise, which depicts the genetic engineering of apes by humans, leading to an ape revolution unseating human dominance on Earth.… Read the rest

Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura- Season Three, Episode #5: The Skinwalker Conspiracy

In Episode #5 of Season Three of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, Jesse and the crew take on what the narrator refers to as “the most far out conspiracy yet- a cover up of an extraterrestrial invasion”- the so-called “Skinwalker Conspiracy.”

In conspiracy theory culture, multiple theories exist suggesting that, not only do aliens from another world exist and visit us, but that they might be in contact and collaborating with the U.S. government.  Some theories even go as far as to suggest that aliens are actually stationed here on Earth, living in secret with the government’s aid and approval.

The so-called “Skinwalker Conspiracy” alleges that such high-level collaboration between our government and alien species from other worlds is a reality.  The theory is named after the Skinwalker Ranch, a location in Utah with a history of paranormal phenomena and possible UFO interaction.   “Skinwalker” is a term from Native American culture to describe supernatural entities that have the ability to shape-shift, and many believe the origin of their myth is rooted in real-life experiences Native Americans have had with aliens and UFO’s.… Read the rest

Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura- Season Three, Episode #4: The Ozarks

In Episode #4 of Season Three of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, Jesse and his team tackle one of the lesser known, but more timely of conspiracy theories:  the “Ozarks” conspiracy.

The theory states that members of the Elite, or Illuminati, are preparing for a post-apocalyptic world by building secret, underground refuges across the Ozark Mountains region of the United States, which covers parts of Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.   The more sinister version of this theory has the Illuminati building these underground fortresses in preparation for a worldwide catastrophe that they will initiate, themselves.  The voice-over narration describes the Ozarks conspiracy as “a conspiracy to launch worldwide chaos” and part of an Illuminati plan to “take over the world from a post in the American Heartland.”

Conspiracies regarding secret underground bases and fortresses being built and operated by the government, or in some cases, the Illuminati, themselves, have become more popular in the decade-plus since the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York on 9/11/2001.… Read the rest

Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura- Season Three, Episode #3: Time Travel

In Episode #3 of Season Three of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, Jesse and his investigative team examine a conspiracy theory torn right from the pages of science fiction literature:  the “time travel” conspiracy.

There are various forms of the time travel conspiracy theory, but, in general, the theory contends that the U.S. government has been experimenting with time travel research for decades, and that they may have already successfully developed technologies that circumvent the rules of the space-time continuum.

Jesse begins his investigation by meeting with Alfred Webre (also known as Alfred Labremont Webre), a man Jesse describes as “an Ivy League lawyer, a former white house advisor, a real insider.”  According to Webre, the time travel conspiracy is “the deepest darkest state secret that the United States possesses.”  Though Jesse seems to have a past with Webre, and treats him with credibility, he seems skeptical that such a conspiracy could exist.   “Wait a minute now.  Wait, wait, wait, time out… wait.  You’re talking to me here like H.G.… Read the rest

Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura- Season Three, Episode #2: Death Ray

In Episode #2 of Season Three of “Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura,” Jesse and the crew investigate another one of the more enduring conspiracy theories of the last 25 years:  the so-called “Death Ray” conspiracy.

This theory alleges that the U.S. government, and now possibly other governments around the world, as well, has developed a super weapon that is capable of destruction ranging from individual assassinations to the nearly instantaneous demolition of buildings and cities.

Different theorists trace the origin of this “Death Ray” weapon to different sources, but Jesse and the crew focus in on the theory that ascribes the development of the Death Ray to 1980’s era “Star Wars” research.  President Ronald Reagan, at the height of the Cold War, instituted a program called “Star Wars”, which sought to create a weapon defense system capable of intercepting and destroying missile attacks from foreign enemies, such as the former Soviet Union.  However, according to conventional history, the program was abandoned due to prohibitive costs and the system was never completed.

Jesse and the crew point to the work of physicist Nikola Tesla as the original source for the scientific discoveries that were later used in the Star Wars program, which then led to the development of Death Ray technology.  Tesla, a common figured cited in many technologically-related conspiracy theories, died in 1943 while living in the States, and according to historical documents, after his death the research he left behind was confiscated by the FBI.… Read the rest

Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura- Season 3, Episode #1: The Reptilian Agenda

Ventura’s son, Tyrel, and filmmaker Oliver Stone’s son, Sean Stone) tackle one of the more popular conspiracy theories of the last few years:  the so-called “Reptilian” conspiracy.

This conspiracy theory, popularized by theorist David Icke, claims that most of the world’s leaders throughout history have been descendants of an ancient race of alien Reptilians and human inter-breeders originating from ancient Sumeria, known as the “Annunaki.”  The theory explains that this Reptilian-human bloodline has been maintained by “The Elite,” including the royal families of Europe and, later, the major American political dynasties.  Proponents of the theory contend that most of today’s world leaders, including the last several  U.S. presidents, are descendants of this bloodline.

From Gettysburg to Mars (and 2045 Along the Way): Andrew D. Basiago & the Secret U.S. Time-Space Program

In 2009, the controversial “Web Bot,” an internet software program that predicts future events by tracking keywords on the internet, began describing the impending emergence of a “planetary-level whistleblower” calling for disclosure to the public of life on Mars and the existence of time travel and teleportation technology.  In its September 15th 2009 ATLA report (Asymmetric Trend Language Analysis), the Web Bot identified its whistleblower:  Andrew D. Basiago.  Since then, Basiago’s life (here on Earth) hasn’t been the same.

A lawyer by trade, and relative newcomer to conspiracy/truth media, Basiago made his first big splash into the forum less than a year earlier with a paper he published on December 12, 2008 called The Discovery of Life on Mars.  In the paper, Basiago attempts to provide photographic and analytic evidence based on images taken by NASA’s Mars exploration rover, Spirit, that (1) numerous types of life exist on Mars, including two “humanoid” types, and (2) there is evidence of artificial structures, such as buildings, aqueducts and monuments on Mars, with similarities to the culture of ancient Egypt.… Read the rest

Every End is a New Beginning: Happy Death Day to Al Bielek, Philadelphia Experiment and Montauk Visionary

October 10, 2012 marks the 1 year anniversary of the death and passing through the astral plane of Al Bielek, a conspiracy theory icon known for his contribution to the legends of the Philadephia Experiment and the Montauk Project.  Bielek claimed he began recovering memories of his involvment in the secret U.S. government research programs after seeing the movie The Philadelphia Experiment in 1988.  He went public in 1989, and cemented his legend in a classic interview with Art Bell on Coast to Coast AM in 1993.

While serving as a Navy engineer during WWII, Bielek claimed he witnessed the events of the legendary Philadelphia Experiment(s) of 1943, in which it is alleged the U.S.S. Eldridge, while docked in the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, was rendered invisible during the initial experiment, then accidently teleported to Norfolk, Virginia in the follow-up experiment .  According to legend, upon the vessel’s reappearances some sailors on the ship experienced strong psychological disturbances, while others were tragically embedded into the metal structures of the ship.  It has been suggested that these experiments were carried out using intense electromagnetic fields, and were based on secret discoveries into the Unified Field Theory made by Albert Einstein, Nikola Tesla, John von Neumann and other scientific leaders of the 20th century.

Bielek also claimed that he later became involved with the Montauk Project, an alleged continuation of research into the areas of teleportation, time travel, and various areas of parapsychology (including telepathy, telekinesis and mind control) based on the discoveries made during the Philadelphia Experiment and other, post-WWII research projects.  During his time in the Montauk Project, Bielek claimed to have been the Operations Manager for experiments involving the “Montauk Chair” in the 1970′s, and when time travel programs became operational in the 1980′s, travelled to 100,000 B.C., 6037 A.D., and Mars.

Here is video of a presentation by Al Bielek called From Philadelphia to Phoenix: The Psychotronic Connection, from the 1991 USPA (United States Psychotronic Association) Conference:
