FBI Working Hard to Deport Friends of Ibragim Todashev, The Man They Killed During the Boston Bombing Investigation

indexDiscrepancies and oddities during the Boston Bombing investigation? Deportation and death? Whodathunkit?

Via TechDirt:

This week’s This American Life is an entire hour devoted to investigating the FBI’s killing of Ibragim Todashev along with a companion piece in Boston Magazine. You probably heard about the basics of the Todashev story. Todashev was a friend of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the older of the two brothers implicated in the Boston Marathon bombings (and the one who was killed when law enforcement tried to capture them), who was being interviewed by the FBI and was then shot multiple times and killed — with a whole variety of conflicting stories coming out soon after as to what he did to lead to his death. One of the key stories was that Todashev had just admitted to participating, with Tsarnaev, in a grisly triple homicide outside of Boston a year and half earlier, and then supposedly lunged at the FBI agents (there were a variety of different reports, each claiming he had some kind of weapon, but each time the report differed on what kind of weapon).

Boston Bomber Tsarnaev’s Conspiracy Theory Subscriptions

Issue 4 AFP 2011 Main BodyThe Wall Street Journal‘s Alan Cullison managed to obtain access to Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s former apartment where he discovered an array of so-called conspiracy theory publications:

…The papers included The First Freedom, an Alabama-based newspaper that espouses “equal rights for whites” and whose websites features a Confederate flag. Another was The Sovereign, a New York-based publication that alleges the U.S. is under the sway of Israeli lobbyists, and that Israel and the Department of Homeland Security were “deeply involved” in the Boston bombings. Neither paper returned requests for comment.

Mr. Tsarnaev got his own subscription to American Free Press, a paper that the Southern Law Poverty Center said promotes anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. A spokeswoman for the paper denied it had such an agenda, saying the paper publishes “news that the established media won’t.” She confirmed that someone bought Mr. Tsarnaev a “get acquainted” 16-week subscription in December. It expired in April, at about the time of the Boston Marathon attack.

Ibragim Todashev, a 1-0 professional MMA fighter, was shot and killed by the FBI last night after being questioned in relation to the Boston Marathon bombings.

Ibragim Todashev was shot and killed by an FBI agent overnight last night according to multiple news reports. Todashev was a professional MMA fighter according to Michelle Malkin who linked to his professional record and posted a video of one of his fights.

Here’s the story from WFTV:

A friend of a man shot and killed by an FBI agent overnight said the victim was being questioned in connection to the Boston Marathon bombings. Khusen Taramov told WFTV the man’s name was Ibragim Todashev, but the FBI has not confirmed that.

“He had a ticket from New York, [and] from there, he was going to go back home. They were pushing him, saying, ‘Stay, don’t leave.’ They said, ‘We want to interview you one last time and talk to you a last time.’ And he decided to stay, and today’s interview was supposed to be the last time, and they said they were going to leave him alone,” said the victim’s friend, Khusen Taramov.

The Other Side Of The Coin; Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter

Recently there have been a couple stories on Disinfo about Alex Jones. The comments got a little lively, and someone mentioned that we were talking too much about Mr. Jones. I myself, in the comments, mentioned how Alex Jones and Glen Beck seem to work both sides of an issue till they fan the flames into something they can use for profits and popularity.

Then this morning I stumbled across this video and thought a little equal time for the FOXies might be interesting. First it would show that we are not trying to pick on any one person. Second it just might illustrate the point that I made and show how we are actually dealing with two sides of the same coin, so to speak.

So I am posting this and posing the question: Are we being handled?

Let’s call it an unofficial poll of the Disinfonauts.
