Satan’s Hollow – The Portal from Ohio to Hell

This video by a YouTube channel called ‘”Believe’ A Paranormal Experience” follows two young men on a pilgrimage/road-trip across country to visit paranormal places. Their last stop requires venturing into a storm drain known as “Satan’s Hollow” which allegedly hosts/hosted devil worshipers and demonic rituals. The radio device they use to communicate with the netherworld at the end is a nice touch.

Those poor Christians are contriving experiencing persecution, again.

The American Family Association has claimed that by pledging not to discriminate against their customers, Mississippi businesses are ‘bullying’ Christians.

The campaign was born after the state’s Governor, Phil Bryant, signed a ‘religious freedom’ law, protecting businesses who discriminate against gay customers.

The bill prevents authorities from placing a “burden on a person’s right to the exercise of religion”.

Equality Mississippi says in two weeks it has distributed over 500 of the stickers, which state: “We don’t discriminate – If you’re buying, we’re selling!”

AFA spokesman Buddy Smith said: “If you do that, you are agreeing with these businesses that Christians no longer have the freedom to live out the dictates of their Christian faith and conscience.

“It’s not really a buying campaign, but it’s a bully campaign, and it’s being carried out by radical homosexual activists who intend to trample the freedom of Christians to live according to the dictates of scripture.

In Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide: How Christianity Came to Armenia, Myth vs. Fact, Two Tales from a Priest

Jean-Léon_Gérôme_-_The_Christian_Martyrs'_Last_Prayer_-_Walters_37113_thumbvia chycho

Last year, in commemoration of the Armenian Genocide, I shared a story from my father. This year, I would like to share the account of how Christianity came to Armenia as told by a priest.

A few years ago I attended an Armenian dinner function. A number of friends and family were in attendance including two Armenian priests. As usual, the conversations were lively and the food and drinks abundant – merriment and passionately uninhibited exchange of ideas is the norm in these gatherings.

Post dinner, while everyone was taking delight in what appeared to be an endless supply of sweets and bottomless cups of coffee and tea, one of the priests asked a question: “who here knows how and why Armenians adopted Christianity?”

All Armenians, even the atheists, are aware and will proudly share the fact that the Armenian Apostolic Church “is the world’s oldest national church”; Armenia being “the first country to adopt Christianity as its official religion in AD 301.” That Etchmiadzin is considered to be “the oldest cathedral in the world”, and that the Armenian Christian order is unique on the religious landscape and has thus been granted stewardship of a quarter of the Old City in Jerusalem.

Sinners in the Hands: When is a church a cult?

Antichrist with the devil, from the Deeds of t...

Antichrist with the devil, from the Deeds of the Antichrist (Photo credit: Wikipedia)(PD)

Depending on which definition (2, 5A&B) of cult, all churches can be one. They all certainly start out as one, perhaps sect is a more polite term. Sometimes a cult is non religious altogether, we here at disinfo can be perceived as one. Depending on how loosely one views the definition of course. I digress, this article talks about a family that has lost their daughter to a nondenominational New Testament church. Called the Church of Wells.

Andy and Patty Grove never planned to settle outside of Texas. Their roots in the state reach back many generations. Patty’s ancestors came to Texas on a wagon train from Tennessee in the 1830’s (an elementary school in Houston is named for her great-grandfather); Andy’s father owned a tract of land that is now part of the posh Houston neighborhood of Hedwig Village. The two grew up a mere five miles away from each other in West Houston, where they attended Stratford and Memorial, rival high schools in Spring Branch ISD.

Christian Anarchist Group Swipes Bikini Calendars From Mall Kiosk

pfojChristian anarchists employed at a mall got tired of walking past a mall kiosk selling bikini calendars. Christian. Anarchists. Employed. At. A. Mall. Must be a radical Chic-fil-A splinter group. People’s Front of Moo-dea? Good grief, kids. Turn the other cheek(s).

Via Raw Story

A group of Christian anarchists has taken credit for the theft of $2,000 worth of calendars featuring scantily clad women from a Georgia shopping mall in Buford.

“Every day on the way to work, we had to walk by this kiosk. Each passing encounter forced a specific sexuality and beauty standard upon us, and we couldn’t take it anymore,” the alleged thieves wrote on the website JesusRadicals.com on December 4.

The website describes itself as a gathering place for “Christians who are also anarchists.”

The group of three Christian anarchists said one person distracted the sole employee at the kiosk on Black Friday while another person grabbed about 200 calendars off the shelves and replaced them with paper signs that read, “Sorry, misogyny is out of stock.” A third person acted as a lookout.

Bizarre Christian Exorcisms Cast Out Muslim Devils

Egypt-Exorcisms-072158269842Coptic priests taking the old school approach to mental illness? I wonder if Bob Larson has access to a Mercedes.

Possessed Egyptian Muslims are turning to Coptic priests to expel their demons the old-fashioned way—through the power of Christ

It’s 6 p.m. in Cairo’s Garbage City slum, and hundreds of people have gathered outside St. Sama’an Cathedral for the evening service. The crowd, which has been building for hours, is waiting patiently for Father Sama’an Ibrahim, the famous Coptic priest and founder of the church. It’s Thursday, which as everyone in Garbage City knows, is exorcism night.

The majority of the people gathered in this packed courtyard are not actually Christian. They’re Muslims who have come in the hopes that Father Sama’an can expel their demons. Groups of women in hijabs huddle together in silence, and every 30 minutes or so, a minibus arrives bearing more pilgrims. As darkness approaches, you can feel the anticipation in the air.

Christian Children’s Entertainer Ronald William Brown Planned to Kidnap and Eat Children

Screen Shot 2013-08-06 at 1.24.50 PMNaturally, this real-life ogre (and his creepy puppet) frequently warned children against the danger of pornography in his Christian ministry videos.

There are no words.

Via New York Post:

Ronald William Brown, from Largo, Florida, was handed the sentence for possession of child pornography.

This was despite him regularly warning children about the sin of pornography on his long-running Christian Television Network show.

Brown, 58, also plotted online with Michael Arnett about targeting a specific child to kill and eat.

“I imagine him wiggling and then going still,” Brown is reported telling Arnett in their online chats.

Christian, You Might Be Guilty of Military Idolatry

fascismLaurence M. Vance writes at LewRockwell.com:

This past Memorial Day brought forth the usual military idolatry. What makes it worse, though, is that this military idolatry is so rampant among Christians and in churches.

And just how can a Christian know if he is guilty of military idolatry? Simple.

Christian, you might be guilty of military idolatry:

  • If you send a care package to a U.S. soldier, but not to a missionary.
  • If you thank a veteran for his service, but not a pastor, priest, deacon, or minister.
  • If you can recite the Pledge of Allegiance, but not the Ten Commandments.
  • If you value serving your country more than serving your fellowman.
  • If you sing the National Anthem at a sporting event with more enthusiasm than you sing a hymn in church.
  • If government welfare spending bothers you, but not government military spending.
  • If anti-war rallies make you mad, but cadences recited in basic training don’t make you blush.

Georgia Man Threatens to Sue if He Can’t Tell Strangers’ Children About Jesus

via The Raw Story religion-is-like-a-penis-mens-heavyweight-tee_design

A Georgia man is threatening to sue the city of Ringgold after he claims his constitutional rights were violated by police last Friday night, when officials asked him to stop bothering strangers’ children about his beliefs in the Christian deity figure Jesus Christ.

Cleveland, GA resident Daryl Banther and his 8-year-old son were reportedly handing out religious pamphlets and questionnaires at an annual celebration in Ringgold when he was confronted by the city manager and chief of police, who interrupted his proselytizing because a parent filed a police report about a strange man in the parking lot approaching children.

He left after repeated requests and was not arrested, but Banther vowed to return the next day. He then contacted the media and informed a reporter for WTVC-TV that he did just as promised, returning on Saturday night to find that he was not hassled at all.

Appearing on camera, he claimed that Christians no longer have any rights in America, then seemed aghast that an atheist could possibly file a lawsuit to force government officials to stop showing a preference for a religion.
