I’m assuming that’s what happened. Why else would the media “blame” a marijuana edible in the falling death of a college student?

A Congolese exchange student jumped to his death after eating a marijuana cookie that his friend legally purchased in one of Colorado‘s recreational pot shops, authorities said Wednesday.

An autopsy report lists marijuana intoxication as a “significant contributing factor” in the death of 19-year-old Levy Thamba Pongi, a native of the Republic of Congo who fell from a motel balcony on March 11.

Levy was a Wyoming college student who was visiting Denver on spring break. Investigators believe Pongi and his friends came to Colorado to try marijuana, Weiss-Samaras said.

Denver Fox Affiliate Station Accidentally Flashes Dick Pic on Live Television (VIDEO)

Like a lot of mainstream news outlets, Denver’s FOX31 sometimes looks to Twitter users to for photos and comments on breaking news stories. With the internet being the internet, sometimes things can go horribly wrong, especially if you’re scrolling through people’s pictures during a live broadcast. Someone – either a Twitter user or an aspiring Tyler Durden at the station – succeeded in getting a “nice, big cock” prominently displayed during a report on a helicopter crash. Check out the expressions on the other reporters’ faces as Mr. iPad babbles on, oblivious to what just happened.

A 26-Foot-Tall Anubis Statue Installed at Denver International Airport

Ever since it was first installed at Denver International Airport, the 32-foot-tall blue "Mustang" has been the talk of the town, but a new addition is sure to get plenty of attention. A crew is installing a seven-ton, 26-foot-tall concrete sculpture of an Egyptian god at the airport. Anubis, a statue with a jackal-head, will be built south of the Jeppesen Terminal. Although part of the lore of the 9,000-pound "Mustang" is that its creator, Luis Jiménez, was tragically killed while making the piece, Anubis may be even more notorious. He's the Egyptian god of death and the afterlife. It's being put in to preview the Denver Art Museum's King Tut exhibit. The exhibit runs June 29 through Jan. 9, 2011, and Anubis will be standing guard during that time...
