2013 – Year of the Witch (Midday Veil Edition)

As I was catching up on the always brilliant Phantasmaphile blog the other day (ran by the rather bewitching Pam Grossman), I noticed that she’d declared 2013 as the “year of the witch”. Hmmm, never occurred to me but let’s run with it. December 21, 2012 supposedly represented a shift in consciousness and I’ll be honest, I sort of feel like a psychic veil has in fact been subtly lifted. Has a new Aeon begun which will re-align us with the sacred shamanic feminine knowledge they used to build the pyramids? I think you’d have to look back on our era from at least fifty years in the future to make any sort of determination on that one. Let’s just remember that it’s fun to pretend that it did, and us doing so enriches the cosmic current of the macro-consciousness. The future already happened man.

So with this in mind, I’m gonna hopefully do a series of posts in 2013 about women artists, musicians, philosophers, etc.… Read the rest

I write this from the brink of the scaffolding. A time when mainstream scientific technology was just not enough. The unknown loomed not just overhead, but we sucked it up and spit it out like black holes–seemingly dilating time with our fun, and our boredom.

I seek to understand at least a tiny portion of the possibilities that are beckoning us, and because of this, a series of experiences have occurred in my life that not only hint, but reveal abstract functions of consciousness.

Soul Capture: Don’t Love the Cosmic Cockroach

Picture: Sharadpunita (CC)

I’ve read OpticusWrangler’s essay “Opti and I” a couple times now and I see some interesting ramifications that I think might be good for further discussion. Anyone who enjoyed the other piece probably won’t mind if I go non-linear.

I used to be a dog musher. Let me start by describing the kind of dog I like: The kind you can’t quite tame. Not the type that acquiesces completely, but rather, the kind you have to come to an understanding with. The kind that holds some of herself back and doesn’t just give away everything. Dogs I like retain something of the wolf in them. Husky dogs that basically say “Yeah, we’re buds but I’m not going to come running every time you call me, WTF? Is everything about you? There is other interesting stuff going on sometimes believe it or not!”

That said, I love dogs, but I still retain a firm belief in my superiority over them.… Read the rest

The following document was produced as a collaboration between myself and the hyperdimensional symbiote……

OK….. Rules…. Let’s establish a few rules for this document, before we begin.

First, it is a rough draft. Which means I can say what I want and try to fix it or scrap it [or not] as I will. The target audience has not yet been selected. Second… It is Pornography, which means No Decent Person should ever lay eyes upon it. Every one’s clothes stay on, but it will get nasty before we are done……

Let this also be a Disclaimer. You have been warned…..

I should also establish that I don’t know what iyam doing. Not Really. But iyam also among the lonely few that know anything at all about …..This topic.… Read the rest
